Recommended by our hotel desk clerk, Spanky's proved to be a real find in this far-eastern Texas town. My wife had the fried shrimp and I opted for fried oysters. Both were offered with french fries, onion rings, hush puppies, or all three. Service was very fast and extremely courteous. We were there on a Thursday night, and the place was packed with locals--a testimony to the quality and quantity served up. Not to be missed!

Get off of the interstate highway and head into Orange for a remarkable lunch experience! The atmosphere has historic relevance and the food and service is impeccable. I had the catfish filet topped with shrimp creole and my buddy had the blackened redfish topped with crabmeat, mushrooms, and spinach. Both dishes came out hot and well seasoned. The service was quick, friendly, and professional.

I'm here now, it's taken twenty minutes to get a drink. Haven't even ordered yet. There is no one here. The bathrooms and trucker showers are directly through the restaurant so dirty truckers keep passing my DINNER table! And cigarette smoke is coming out of the electric casino in the same building. Just left.

Sunday night, closes at 9pm, fried shrimp was pretty good, no watermelon:( , fish tasted old, was a nice variety to choose from, no service from a waiter or waitress, though she did refill my tea when I got her attention and asked for another refill but other than that , we never had anyone stop by our table at all. Staff were courteous behind buffet counters and when we arrived to be seated. The music was great. The price was a little expensive for what we ate though.

I stopped by this Arby's location for a quick lunch and let me tell you.. This was by far the fastest place I have EVER been to! From the time I made my order and paid for it, she handed my change and good at the same time!! I was very impressed and it was freshly made not stale like some of the fast food places you go to! Definitely recommend this location if you're in the area and like Arby's .. It's at the Loves truck stop!

The restaurant is VERY good here! The shrimp Po Boy is usually very good. Seafood generally is fresh and cooked to order. The parking lot is huge behind the truck stop, so if you drive a truck like I do, please don't park in the little area where the folks driving cars are supposed. If it's full, just north is the Cash Magic truck stop....
Had dinner here on a Saturday night, while watching the races. The restaurant looks over the finish line of the track and has a small balcony where you can step out and watch the horses run. Service was nice, although the place was pretty deserted. The food was acceptable, if a bit overpriced. Bacon-wrapped shrimp were dry and bland, and one of our partyâs steak was way over cooked. But the Mac & cheese and vegetable casserole were excellent. Dinner for 4 with no appetizers, alcohol or dessert was $146.
Treat yourself to gourmet coffee, American diner-style favorites, deli sandwiches, barbecued specialties, freshly baked muffins, and much more.
Fast food from $9.99 or less. My grands enjoyed the Shrimp basket. I watched employee NoNo take the orders, cook the food, plate up orders, etc with no help. She was a one person act with a smile on her face. That's dedicated! Thanks
