During one of our last visits to Vernon my wife and I had the pleasure of being served by Julie. Her service was impeccable from start to finish. Would return just to sit in her section. The hunan pow was also very tasty

I find this establishment really hit and miss. The service is attentive but they have got my drinks wrong. The menu is interesting and some items I have found just bizarre but this past summer they did have some amazing new dishes otherwise the ACE burger is my go to as trying other items I found them to be just to different. The place is clean and has lots of parking. The one thing i do not care for is the skimpy short shorts the waitresses wear especially if they call themselves a family restaurant. I would eat here more often if they dressed a little more classy. I have never sat on the patio in the summer but it looks inviting.

Garden courtyard filled with tropical plants provides a lovely ambience with a natural creek flowing through the atrium. We enjoyed our relaxing evening dining experience and breakfast the following morning in this setting. We had traditional fare of a Rueben sandwich, fish and chips, and eggs benedict. The food was good but no longer stellar. Staff seemed new and even though the restaurant was not busy the service was very low quality. High prices must support the ambience as it was not reflected in the quality of the meals.

But really great experience! Our server was new but super attentive - made sure we knew it was busier than expected (Raptors game and hockey) and short staffed so might be longer wait than usual for the meal. But she kept our beverages filled and kept coming to see how we were doing. We tried some of the new menu items - mussels for an appetizer (so good!) followed by a steak sandwich, the Babushka poutine, halibut burger and tuna bowl. Everything was nicely presented, flavourful and enough to fill us up. We werenât going to have dessert but decided to try the churros- a new item and do good!We enjoyed the patio - and loved the bench seating - would recommend that - the lilacs screen the view of the parking lot which was nice.Thanks again for a great meal - and kudos to the new server (a definite plus!) and to the kitchen staff for a yummy meal!

hidden in the side of a hotel, this gem is very classy and spacious. the teasers were great and some good wine options as well. My wife had the amazing Lobster mac and cheese and i had the satisfying halibut and fries. All very well made and tasty! I dare not leave without trying the dessert so on to the triple chocolate dessert and my wife had the fritters which were like a crispy donut. very happy with the quality and we will be back! Must try the jumbolia next time!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and had a lukewarm experience. The staff almost felt disorganized (we were read specials, then told they were sold out once we ordered them, moved tables, etc). The atmosphere/decor was great, the food was yummy and they have a good selection of drinks. However, the menus were icky and the service so-so.

My family and I went here on Friday (May17th) for a Happy Hour while we had overnight trip in Vernon. None of us had been to a British pub before so it was a new experience dining here.Fast and courteous service. Calamari($8.95) and Poutine($8.95) were so delish. Food portion was big enough for 4 of us to share. Honey brown ale ($5.25) was smooth. Even non-drinker like my mom and myself enjoyed it after my dad took a sip. Interior looked outdated though. Although my family and I felt tired from the long trip, we had a great time relaxing and dining here.

not much atmosphere however, staff are efficient and food is adequate. Parking can be an issue as the surrounding business's have signage no parking in theredesignated areas. You can get lucky however, from time to time to find a spot along either side.

First time I had visited here - what a beautiful historic building. I understand there is an upstairs and downstairs to the business - we sat upstairs for lunch. It was quiet and our server was on it and very professional. Lots of good looking options on the lunch menu, I opted for a beef dip - it was a good sized portion, and tasty. Others in my group had burgers and bowls - no complaints from anyone. Would I come back? Sure would!!

This restaurant serves the best BBQ/smoked meats. My favorite was smoked brisket and smoked beans. The staff was friendly and the owner took the time to talk to almost every customer about their food experience and their day.I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone including children.
