Got a great sandwich, built by a very proud young man. He told me it would be the best sandwich I'd ever bought at Subway, and he was right.

With the new sandwich offerings of the gyro's and the Bourbon BQ, I really like to go to Arby's vs the hamburger options available in Van Buren. I am looking forward to trying their Mount Italy. Most recently had the Bourbon Brisket and it was really good, albeit pricey, but we had a special offer deal so it was in line price-wise.
When you go into the Subway at 518 North Plaza Drive during lunch time you are always made to feel welcome!!Sandy, Maria, and Connie are three of the nicest people I know. They always fix my order just the way I want it, even if it is kind of strange, with out complainig!! Sometimes I go elsewhere to eat lunch, but I'm usually sorry I did. I've eaten at other Subway places in my area, but the other places have acted like it was a bother to serve me! The ladies at this Subway make my dining experience fun and enjoyable!! Oh, yes, and the food is always great!!!
We saw a BBQ outside shed with an incredible aroma. If you are looking for the BBQ meat that gets its flavor from the slow heat of hardwood rather than the sauce, look no further. We had no less than four staff people asking if everything was OK! We will be back and feel our rating will go from for to five
We enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast at The Wagon Wheel! The eggs were cooked to order (real eggs) and the biscuits and gravy and pancakes were good also. We are most impressed that they serve Blue and Gold sausage and bacon. It is superior quality, and they are helping the local FFA and scholarships by serving it. This will definitely be our breakfast âgo toâ from now on, and we will try their lunch soon too!

I had the beef tips which were wonderfully flavored. Vegetables steamed and not over cooked. The thing about the visit that stands out in my mind though were the employees. These were all fairly young people. Didn't appear much older than high-school age and this was a busy Friday night. They worked together so very efficiently. All moving quickly through their jobs with grace. our waitress was Maria who was extremely pleasant and accommodating.

Stopped in Van Buren during train layover, and restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait. Not your usual frozen patty fried on the grill, but an irregular shaped burger full of flavor. Fries were good, too. Onion rings were tasty, but not homemade. Service was quick, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the old building.

We ate dinner here while in town and it was convenient to our hotel. There was no host when we entered during mid afternoon visit and the place was entirely empty except for one customer at the bar. We waited a short time and then a waitress told us to seat ourselves in the bar area. Our drink orders were taken promptly and menus are right on the table. We felt the 3/$10 offerings were a good choice so ordered tea, salad and grilled chicken/beans/rice and then ordered a Santa Fe Salad ($10.59). All of the food was very tasty and a good amount. I would say if you ordered an appetizer you could split the entree on the 3/$10, if they allow that. This dish wasn't spicy but the pico de gallo did have chopped jalapenos in it so a little "bite" but could order without. It is served with a bed of rice, topped with beans, then chargrilled chicken and topped with the pico. Nice presentation of all the food. The salad was a good serving and topped with fried chicken tenders. The meal was served timely and the waitress was attentive in refilling beverages. The only con was the to-go tea cup was much smaller than the glass of tea served. But we enjoyed our visit and the timing was good for us without a large crown and noise.

Our family has visited Colton's Steak House & Grill several times and have always been impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the service. A stand-out visit was bringing our elderly mother who has mobility and communication difficulties. The waitress was patient and respectful in taking the order and assisting. Very impressive! We'll be back!
