Sometimes there's nothing better than relaxing to catch up and chow down with the people you love. At Elvira's Cafe, that's just the type of feeling we've been providing since we first opened our doors in 2012. Our cafe's menu is just about as fresh as it
Just came upon this place while out for a drive with visiting family. Glad we did. Great sandwiches and pretty area. Very good food. We will return here. Not open late so arrive for lunch. You wont be disappointed.
The temperature outside was 93° and there was no air conditioning in the facility. BBQ is really hard to mess up till today. Except for the potato skins, the food was very poor quality, without flavor or seasonings. The meat fatty. Baked potatoes inside were hard and not the color of any potato I have ever had. Coleslaw was warm, the macaroni and cheese was gritty. The water was horrible. Miranda (our waitress)was not trained, and did not care that the food was bad. The staff was outside smoking most of the time that we were there.I did tell the staff to please refrigerate the coleslaw, and to bake the potatoes the same day that you serve them. And maybe try tasting their food.

My family and I recently grabbed a quick lunch at this Subway. It is a normal Subway with the addition of ice cream. Service was friendly and quick. There is a fairly larger than average seating area.

Camped in Townsend and decided to eat at the Carriage house. The breakfast buffet was great, and would do it again.

Ate here today with a group of people. We spent almost $50 for three people to eat, and we all ordered the same thing. We ordered sliced chicken and it was small medallions of what tasted like processed thick lunch meat. It had no flavor at all. We each received 5 or 6 of these and they were really small. We also got the green beans as a side, small cup, maybe 1/4 a cup and most of that cup was full of water, again no flavor. The other side we got, one of us got the obviously pre packaged sweet potato waffle fries which were just ok, and two of us got the coleslaw, again maybe 1/4 a cup and very average taste. Two hush puppies came with the meal , and they left those off my daughter's plate . We ordered two teas and not once did the waitress come to refill them. Very very small amount of food, it was like eating at a hospital cafeteria, yet we spent almost $50 and left the waitress a tip. 11.99 each meal, for less food than a cheap TV dinner. Very poorly run restaurant that needs to treat their customers like they want them back.

The Riverstone Family Restaurant was originally opened and owned by Terry & Belinda Haley in 2004 and gave it its name and the reputation of having the very best food anywhere around. We share the same Rep at the Riverstone Lodge right next door.We truly
There are not many choices in Townsend so we were happy to find the Riverstone restaurant. Service was top notch, the country "comfort food" was excellent! We came back the next morning and had the best breakfast, great coffee and wonderful fast service even though it was packed!

We had dinner at the Black Bear Cafe on our last night in Townsend and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The dining area is a bit small but comfortable. The place was packed when we arrived. It had a âlocalsâ fee to it, which was nice. Service was excellent. Our Server made helpful suggestions and was very attentive. My daughter had the Chopped Steak with Onions & Peppers. I had the Fish Sandwich, I believe using Grouper. Food delivery was fast and the it was delicious. The Fish was cooked perfectly. The Grouper didnât have a strong Fish taste, and fried, made a large and delicious sandwich. We split a huge piece of Caramel, Apple and Walnut Pie afterwards. It was amazing. For the quality, quantity and service, the price was appropriate and worth it. We both really enjoyed our dinner and would return to the Black Bear Cafe on future visits to the area.

At Trailhead we focus more on the quality and perfection of our food and service than anything else. Our prices are the same or cheaper than all of our local competitors. Only difference is we try to offer more of a fine dining restaurant experience such
My husband and I decided to eat at this restaurant because it had such great reviews. It was across the street from our hotel, which made it very convenient after a long days drive. Our food was very good, waitress was sweet, and they had live music the evening we were there. We went to bed with full tummies and slept like rocks! We both had their rib-eye steaks, which were cooked perfectly. Would eat here again, if in this area of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The salmon was very good served over risotto with a tasteful sauce but the service was extremely slow. We waited an hour for our meal to arrive and there was hardly anyone in the place. My husband ordered the âspecialâ for the evening - southern fried chicken - he did not like it - didnât even get a breast only a thigh and a leg. Said our grocery store in Florida called Publix makes better fried chicken which surprised me since we were in the south and it was their special.Meal was VERY expensive and everything was a la carte. Hi Laurianne - We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, and value that you chose to spend your evening with us during your trip to Tennessee. We are pleased to hear your Salmon and Risotto was enjoy, and wish you husband had liked the Fried Chicken Special more. We're proud of our traditional Appalachian preparation, but understand that tastes can differ - most certainly when it comes to something as sacred as fried chicken. We will get your feedback to our management and hope you'll consider us for a future trip. All the best!
