The menu included various types of burgers, including vegan burgers. I had the a double burger with bacon. It was good, but not the best I have ever had. The sweet potato fries were tasty, and the portion was quite large. The dessert menu was rather limited, the kids had vegan milkshakes which they were happy with, I found the blackberry pannacotta a bit boring, ny husband had the brownie, which was good, though a bit dry.The restaurant is informal and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I didn't initially want to dine here having lived in the States for 40 years, but my host insisted. First, it does have the brightness and colors of an American Diner but the food itself didn't match. I wasn't feeling confident hearing people at tables around us complaining about their food, but I always choose to try regardless. I asked the server for a suggestion and she insisted the burgers were the best option and proceeded to point to the BBQ Pork sandwich, but I decided to go along. My host chose the Philly Cheese Steak. As for my sandwich, it was decent with a sweet pulled pork, on top of a tart coleslaw to take some of the slightly overly sweet taste of the BBQ sauce down a notch. The fries were okay and probably better than the sandwich overall. As for the Philly Cheese Steak...they better hope nobody from Philly ever dines there because they might flip out. There should be an ample amount of cheese on these trademark sandwiches and this was but a dash and there was so much more bread than any filling, that it would have been better to put the filling on crackers instead to actually appreciate some flavor other than what the starch provided. In the end, the complaints I heard around us were confirmed by our own experience and I doubt I will be asked to try it again. My suggestion is if you want to create the feel of a concept and it's foods...you need to study how it is done and offer what it is you are promising. I love Norwegian burgers, but they are nothing like American burgers. You Tube alone could help this concept in the long run. Also...too expensive for what you get. You can eat far better for less in this quaint little town.

I've been here many times because the quality is impeccable. They have delicious vegan burgers, having recently added another option to the menu as well as a second vegan salad option. Their truffle and parsley fries are amazing but my friend lives for the Parmesan and parsley fries. I hear they have their own butcher and the beef is local and well cared for.Dear tarynlynnesumpton,Thank you so much for leaving us such a nice review. This means a lot to us!We're super happy to hear you find our vegan dishes delicious. We love burgers, both meat and vegan, so there is something for everybody. More and more of our guests are becoming vegans, so we're trying to adjust to all your preferences. It pleases us to see you also love the fries! Did you know that our "coconut and drunken pinapple" dessert can be made vegan? Maybe you would want to try that one next time :-) We're looking forward to seeing you again soon. Kind regards, Kate.
