Local guy who started brewing in brew club and now has his own place. The building is in the old mint building. (Government never actually used it as a mint after building it.) They also have some snacks and salads and sandwiches, too. Good local wine and cider.

First time here, stopped by for late lunch/early dinner. Nice place, good atmosphere, very nice outdoor dining area. Our server was ok, not very friendly but not rude. She spoke very little to us. We ordered the Beer Cheese Fries which were very good, just the right balance of cheese sauce and bacon, a few too many jalapeños but we just scraped them off. We also had the Chicken Hickory Bacon Caesar Wrap and the Gangsta's Paradise Burger. The wrap needed more chicken and could have been a bit bigger, my husband was still a little hungry after having it. The burger was great! Really nice blend of all the flavors, I would definitely order it again. The beer and wine selections were really great as well. Our meal was served in a very timely manner and overall we liked it, good selection of items on the menu. We will be back if we're in the area again in the future.

Pizza
Everyone loves the pizza here. Everyone told me this was the best place to go. I found the menu limited. I managed to eat a personal 6" pizza with cheese because I couldn't find anything I really wanted. My guests had a taco pizza and enjoyed it.

Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy plac
With a strange hand-off between wait staff right in the middle of our group ordering, it was the first clue that service was not a priority. After several inquiries about the status of our food (on not a very busy evening), it finally arrived about an hour after ordering. When we complained, they had to call a manager at home to get any resolution which was comping our round of drinks they had brought us during the wait! The food was actually very good when it did arrive, but probably not worth the hour wait.

Hands down the best burger we've ever had, and we are definitely burger snobs. The fries were stellar too. Just passing through The Dalles, but it's going on our list of stops when we're traveling

We ate supper here tonight. We all ordered breakfast meals since they were on the less expensive side. The food was pretty good, except the biscuits. They think their biscuits are really good, but I thought they were mediocre. The service was slow, and after the food was served we really didnât see the waitress again, and we had to ask somebody else to bring our check. So I probably wouldnât eat here again. Everything on the menu seemed quite expensive. Thank you scottgE1222SE, it's great to see you enjoyed your visit overall, but we're disappointed our biscuits fell short, and that our service wasn't as attentive as it should have been. We hope you'll be back for a better experience soon--if we let you down, please let us know and we'll work quickly to make it right! Thanks again.

This is a regular breakfast spot when visiting our kids and grandkids since the hotel continental breakfast is not worth trying. You can get a great breakfast from Benedict, chicken fried steak or just a couple eggs, hash browns and toast. Weâre never disappointed and the servers are always on there to get you what you need. My only bad note and it goes to a lot of restaurants, they need better coffee. Visit pubsgrubbeer.com
