A favorite place to stop in Flatwoods, The Custard Stand is a retro feel diner with indoor seating in booths and outdoor seating at picnic tables. They have a hotdog and burger menu with fried sides (including broccoli bites and awesome crispy fries! ) milkshakes and ice cream. They make your food to order the way you like at and have delicious hotdogs and shakes! We highly recommend the small but extremely satisfying Custard Stand for fast friendly service and a great hotdog! Check them out when in Flatwoods!!

You get what you expect - good food from Arby's. The variety was great - more decisions that just ordering a roast beef sandwich! We had a medium meal double BNC, 2 RB sliders (with horseradish and catsup!), a smokehouse short rib sandwich, and drinks. Good food - all of it.

Flatwoods, WV is an oasis is an empty chunk of the state. I stopped here on a recent work trip to Pittsburgh, and was very happy. I hadn't eaten a Shoney's in 20 years, but as a Rick & Morty fan I couldn't pass up the opportunity. It was a solid little buffet. Decent selection, and totally solid mid-range food. They're owned by Frisch's, so I describe it as "a Frish's, if Frish's had decent food".

The food is mouth-watering, lip smacking good!!! The prime rib is outstanding and the buffet has many home style offerings. Wear the roomy clothes, sit back and relax with a glass of wine and a view of the beautiful sunsets while waiting for dessert. Thank you to Shana for being the perfect server and suggesting the steak burger.

The first tip should have been that there was only one car on the parking lot. The place was empty. I thought about leaving but after driving for 7 hours, I was ready for a break. The place was the dirtiest I have seen in a very long time. The floors, the window glass of the doors, the blinds, nothing in view was clean. The server said they had been very busy on Sunday but the debris in the floor around the table bases looked like it had been there a lot longer than that. At least half the light bulbs in over head light fixtures were not working. This place looks like it was a cute, well built restaurant 30 years ago that has fallen on hard times or into the hands of a manager who just doesn't care. My food was OK, not great but not horrible, but I won't be returning. There were other food choices at Flatwoods, a hot dog place, KFC, Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, Shoney's, a Chinese buffet. My advice, try one of those!

My sister and I ate lunch at Cafe Cimino yesterday. We really enjoyed the food. I had a grilled chicken goat cheese salad. It was delicious. My sister had the pepperoni pizza and loved it also. The view on the patio overlooks the river and was so peaceful and relaxing. The service was great also. We will definitely be back. Thanks!Hi Sisters! Thank U so much for sharing your experience having lunch with us! We agree that the combination of good food good service and that incredible view of the beautiful Elk River is pretty tough to beat! Come see us again real soon and thanks again! Our fall hours for lunch are Fridays Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM until 2 PM.
