Wife and I had lunch here. The site is beautiful and the building is very impressive with massive timbers. Wife had Helles beer and I had Pilsner, neither special. She said cheese soup very good as were dumplings and salted radishes interesting. I ordered the sausage and cheese appitizer, but got the three Worst sausages plate. Not bad, but wouldn't order it again. It's not inexpensive, our bill was a bit over $60. Service was good. We'll probably come back for a second try.Thank you for coming to the Bierhall. We work to keep our prices fair. Our beers are very authentic Austrian style lagers, while they are not quite as flavor forward as DIPA's in the long run lagers will win the day for easy drinking session style beers.

Based on the reviews we ordered a large pizza to share. It was excellent and the leftover pizza was tasty for breakfast! My Dad ordered the chicken parm and it was huge! He really enjoyed it. The waitstaff was very friendly. We went at an off time and were immediately seated. I imagine during dinner this place is hard to get in. I would highly recommend this place and hope to return.

Very interesting menu, was hard to choose. Started with a perfectly balanced cocktail, with muddled chili peppers, grapefruit, tequila. Both our meals were excellent, my husband choosing two apps, the house made kielbasa, was so tasty with a great texture. It came with bread and really tasty pickled blueberries, followed by an order of chicken wings which were delicious and a very generous serving. I opted for a locally sourced salad and the scallops with house made fettuccine. Jennifer picked out the perfect white wine to pair with my entree, thank you. Berries and chocolate for dessert, just right.

Very nice wine bar with good selection of wines by the glass. Food is mostly small plates that you can share. Everything we had was very good. I believe the menu changes regularly. Good service. Quite busy on weekends, so would recommend making reservations.

Many great recipes for "standard" fare - must try mac & cheese; fantastic 1/2 chicken meal; the best cucumber salad (we could drink that incredible Asian sesame dressing). Also, a great selection of craft brews. We noticed that it is one of the places where the locals go - friendly atmosphere with great service. We will be back.

We had great expectations but unfortunately they were not met. This opinion does not have to do with the quality of the food because we decided to live without our main course. A restaurant that does not concentrate itâs efforts in customer service cannot expect to be evaluated as a good restaurant. Stowe is crawling with tourist and the restaurant did not take the steps to provide good service. The restaurant was full and the only waiter in our area could not handle the job. The waiter got to our table 15 minutes after we sat down and drinks took 30 minutes. They knew we were not happy customers and yet our first course, raw oysters and french fries took forever to get to our table. We waited for another half an hour for our main course and decided to leave. Service was terrible. No good restaurant treat customers this way. Never again.El servicio fue desastroso. Stowe está repleto de turistas y el restaurante no tomó medidas. La espera fue desesperante. Nos fuimos sin esperar el plato principal. Un restaurante bueno no permite que esto pase. Absolutamente decepcionados.

According to a posted magazine article, this restaurant is in the top 100 to eat at in the country! I certainly thought it was worth the hype. We arrived two weekday mornings in a row when they opened at 8 am and were seated right away. *I would highly recommend doing this because people who were arriving just an hour later as we were leaving had a 45 minute to 60 minute wait!* My personal favorite options were the biscuits-best ever! Home fries-so tasty I didnât need ketchup. Pancakes-almost crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The eggs and bacon were unremarkable. The service is super friendly here too.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Flannel with my fiancée. I had the 6oz Filet and she had the Tuna. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Tuna was super fresh and very high quality. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a great table with beautiful Mountain Viewâs. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Stowe.
