I had the Double Barrel Potato with pulled pork and ya'll, I haven't had a baked potato stuffed with so many fixins' and with so much goodness anywhere else. This is a HUGE and hugely delicious option for those, like me, who aren't crazy about BBQ meat or BBQ sauce - all the portions and flavors of all the fixins' blended together perfectly...not to heavy on the sauce or the sour cream, meat was a hearty helping, moist, and not overpowering, and the potato was big enough to accommodate all without being overwhelmed. I'll ask to go back to this location for this meal next time I visit.

Atmosphere: Texas-Country, clean, roomy.Service: Quick, friendly, courteous & accomodating. Mistakes are fixed with a smile.Food: Known for the fabulous Chicken Fried Steak. Other good offerings.. pork chops, meatloaf, burgers, and TexMex. Rolls are yummy. The cream and brown gravies are very good, too. Baked potatoes after 5p and my only disappointment is they serve margarine. I take my own real butter.

I have visited here with my family and with small groups of friends (8-10). The place is impeccably clean and the food is always delicious. It is a basic, simply decorated cafe. I enjoy the lack of background music and televisions on the wall. When I go out with friends for a meal, I dislike having to shout over unnecessarily loud music or to compete for their attention with a TV. I want to savor both my food and the conversation with my companions. The pleasant atmosphere at Annie's makes that easy to do. The two ladies who wait on the tables are always friendly and efficient. Drinks are always full and the food is served hot. The food is consistently good. Not fancy, but always good. When I mention to my kids that I'm thinking about going there for breakfast or lunch, they're always ready to go. If you want to visit, you need to know that they only serve breakfast and lunch and they are closed on Sunday. I have see a lot of businesses come and go on this spot, but they're thriving, so they're clearly doing it right.

We had heard good things about this restaurant. However, I experience was poor. We order take out. The burger was fine. The chicken fried steak was soaked in grease as were the fries. The pies look great but found that 90% was topping and little custard.

Chicken Express in Springtown is one of the better eating places we have. Their chicken is consistently good as are their side dishes and rolls. Sweet tea is a specialty and it IS sweet!!. I prefer half and half or unsweetened, but if you like sweet tea, "Chicken E 's" is as good as anybody's. Their rolls are yeasty and hot AND they also serve fabulous chicken livers and gizzards which has become an increasingly rare phenomenon in fast food chicken places. Great gravy, fried okra, corn fritters, good fries. What's not to like?! Prices are reasonable too. This place easily puts Kentucky Fried Chicken to shame.
