Find out what American restaurants to try in Snowbird. Expert skiers will love Snowbird, which offers some of the steepest and most exhilarating runs in the United States. However, there are also less intimidating slopes for less experienced skiers, and even those who don't ski will enjoy the mountain's breathtaking views.

The cafeteria in the middle floor of the building, under Watson's Gill which is the restaurant on the top floor
We ski at Alta every year and look forward to our late lunches at the Watson's Shelter restaurant (Collins Grill). You can take off your ski boots and they provide you with slippers to give your feet a break after a long morning of skiing. The food is very good, and service is always friendly.

High-ceilinged restaurant that caters to American-style buffet for breakfast. 3 types of scrambled eggs were good. Bacon. Fresh fruit also good, as was yogurt. Didn't try other things such as oatmeal, cereals, etc. Does not have European style lochs, bagels. The high ceilings and view up the mountain are nice additions.

The Rustler Lodge Dining Room is known for fine dining, unmatched elegance and magnificent views. Chef Ed McCall has been creating a unique dining experience at the Rustler Lodge since 1989. Ed, along with Food and Beverage Manager Meg Kemp, take great pr
The food was ALWAYS wonderful x 5 nights and 2 lunches. The staff was mostly college ski bums (fun) and a few Eastern Europeans (interesting). Service was very good, even with amateurs. Another guest knocked over our expensive champagne - the house replaced it, no questions asked. Boom!restrooms have been updated since our last visit. Otherwise perfection remains. Thank you! We are (perhaps justly) very proud of the high quality of our meals, and are delighted to hear that your service was very good and you believe the Rustler to be perfection. We are so pleased you enjoy your stay. Looking forward to welcoming you back this ski season, Sheridan Davis

Was attending nerdtacular at snowbird where a small off shoot event took place. Staff was extremely friendly, food was pretty good, and alcohol prices were decent considering resorts are a bit pricier. Actually told the manager her staff was pretty awesome, and she was pretty awesome herself. Whole group had a great time.

Took a coworker for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Food came out fairly quickly. They serve very large quantities. A burger and side is a pretty big meal. Large gourmet type burgers. Very tasty. Very reasonably priced. Again awesome service from the host and server throughout the time we were there. I recommend

Now in it's thirty-fourth season, the Shallow Shaft Restaurant is an eclectic dining experience set in the beauty of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Chef Kurtis Krause welcomes you to our unique and intimate restaurant that is the perfect place to enjoy our reg
At the end of a family ski trip at Alta we enjoyed a great dinner at the Shallow Shaft. The seafood and the gnocchi were hits with everyone. An excellent wine list allowed us to pair great wines with our entrees. The cream of asparagus soup was a wonderful first course. Service was first rate - attentive but not over-bearing. It really is THE PLACE for dinner in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

This is one of the few Snowbird restaurants open in summer, and only from Wednesday through Sunday, The Lodge Bistro serves a variety of food, including hearty starters, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees. The evening I went, the chef prepared a special corn velouté soup garnished with pickled shrimp, which was delicious. The coconut shrimp were meaty, perfectly cooked, and served with a jalepeño sauce that was sweet and not too hot. Their signature drink is Manhattan Meets the Mountain, which is distinguished by Zirbenz Stone Pine liqueur from the Alps. If you enjoy Manhattans, give this a try. The service is terrific. A seat by the window will get you a view of the many potgut (Uinta ground squirrels) that inhabit the area.

Certainly not the best value, but this restaurant always delivers a terrific experience. I had the Rib Eye, which was perfectly cooked and very well presented price just under $40. My daughter had the scallops which were very good and priced about $3... get these if you like bread crumbs and BUTTER! We will plan to return soon

My wife couldn't ski and the Snowbird Summit offered her the best opportunity to be part of our group. Snowbird offers a reasonable price for a round trip tram ride to summit. Only downside it bringing in outside food and drink is prohibited so you have to spend $$. Beers were good and so was food. But prices were crazy...
