We chose Bob Evans for our dinner because of name recognition and next door to our motel. The staff were very professional, the food was hot and delicious and portions were very good. It could use more "busing" service to clear tables but still was a very good dinner experience.

A traditional NY Style Deli, family owned and operated. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Fresh made salads, soups, breads.
Four of us ate here for lunch recently. There is a good selection of New York-style delicatessen foods amidst a New York sports memorabilia museum. We thought the food was solidly good, similar to other delis we have eaten at, with similar choices. Portions were average or slightly below average for the price. There was nothing "special" to set it apart as exceptional in my opinion, which just means we won't be taking any special trips from where we live to go visit it, but would certainly stop again if in the area. Overall good!

Like most. Beer is expensive and meals are fine but not exceptional. Service was good and location is convenient to several hotels

Great menu, be sure to read the back. Tons of wonderful choices that will appeal to the whole crowd. There were four of us and we got four totally different things. Shrimp great, quesadilla yummy, Philly cheesesteak delicious, French dip lip smacking, and the hamburger was devoured. Interesting decor and outside dog friendly patio. Kitchen laundry ant huge so if itâs crowded be patient. We will be back just so we can try all new dishes next time. Didnât hurt that prices are very reasonable and waitress was attentive and polite. Thanks Heidi great dinner!

Years ago, this was the place to go on a Friday or Saturday night for good seafood. Have been a couple of times in the last year and, each time we say we wonât be back. Not bad tasting but really just didnât have good flavor. I got flounder and it was just okay. Nothing good- pretty tasteless. My family agreed. Plus it is overpriced for the serving size. There are other seafood places just a short drive away that are much better and a better value. The wait staff seemed unprofessional as well. Older lady who didnât seem physically able to be waitressing and want too excited about having to wait on us. My recommendation- just keep driving

Neither of us had been to Texas Steakhouse in years...for no particular reason. Decided we wanted to go somewhere different and went to the Smithfield, NC location. We arrived about 4pm. Immediately seated. Server arrived quickly for drink order. Was very helpful with questions about menu items. We ordered the queso & chips for an appetizer, and added the Texas chili. It was wonderful...could have been thicker, but very tasty. My husband got brisket plate and I got tenderloin tips. We both got a flavored ice tea. Everything came out perfectly. Even something as mundane as a baked potato was just awesome ! Food came quickly. Server checked back to see if meat was cooked to our preferences, checked our beverages. We made sure we engaged the server in conversation to see how long he had been there and if he was likely to be there when we go again. Thanks David for helping make this a superior experience.Eyesblue48,Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so happy to hear that you received great service and food! Hearing you had a wonderful experience makes what we do all worth it! Please come and see us again soon. It would be our privilege to serve you!

After taking in a movie across the street, we popped into this restaurant for a late-evening bite. The service was good, and the beer was cold, but the food was not quite up to par. Because it was late on a Wednesday (9:00-ish) I felt like our Hog Cakes (a twist on crab cakes, made with pulled pork) were left over from earlier in the day. They were hard, lukewarm, and not quite edible. The SoDo shrimp were a bit better, but not very flavorful, despite the boom-boom sauce.I could see the potential, and we may just have hit this restaurant at an off-time, but regardless of the hour of the day, I would like to have the food that I order fresh and presented to me the same at noon as at 9 pm! It is also a little hard to pronounce the name of this restaurant! I understand it is an acronym for its location in the town, but as a traveler, I can't explain that!

I absolutely crave the flavor of their chicken. It is very crusty and delicious. The tea is great as well. The dining area is very outdated but homey feeling.. I encourage you to give it a try

Highly recommended. We were just stopping in town for overnight during our trip. Simple Twist looked interesting. It was fabulous! Not a fancy place, but food was awesome. We had two of their bowls Curry and Mexican. We liked Mexican the best, but both will not disappoint. Lemon/Blueberry Cheesecake was all excellent. Very good service. Give it try! Next time we passing thru we need to try their beer pub across the street.
