Came here for lunch on a sunny Saturday. My boyfriend and I always share the food that we order so we can try both of the things. We ordered the pulled pork bap and the old smokey sandwich from the lunch menu. The old smokey sandwich was delicious but would have been even tastier with some coleslaw. The pulled pork bap was also really tasty and came with coleslaw inside. The waiters here were friendly and the atmosphere was really âchillâ. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Visiting the area and my husband was very keen to try this place out. My son absolutely loved it!! Portions were good, and well cooked. Lots to choose from, as I'm picky when it comes to meat. The chap was good at explaining the menu, especially as I need a gluten free menu. Left with full bellys.. And 90 quid lighter! Downside. Decor a tad cheesey. The toilets smell bad and are very dark! Avd no gulten free beers. Disappointing as they offer gulten free bread.Hey Emma S,Thanks for taking the time to review. Glad you rated the food, choice and way it was cooked. Few points for us to work on - the décor revamp is scheduled for next year :) will look at the toilets as this is not a common report and we will definitely get in some gluten free beers. Appreciate your honest review and hope you will visit us again when in the area (and enjoy our GF beer)David, Smoke Stop#BBQlovin

Lyons Den burger is a gourmet burger restaurant located in Shrewsbury town centre. All of our burgers are homemade using the best local produce available.
Visited on recommendation and based on good reviews. Arrived and thought that the quirky underground venue was cool and that the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu looked really good too. However we were so disappointed with the food. It was just ok. But definitely not gourmet. All very average, quite greasy, and nothing tasted handmade. Which is fine, if you aren't trying to call it gourmet and charge gourmet prices. For two of us to have two meals and a drink was £40. In and out in half an hour and £40 worse off. Bit of a shame really!

Sunday morning offered bottomless proccceco at £25pp with our breakfast. We de cloned the offer especially at about 10.45am. So we both had a large breakfast with toast and a pot of tea. I had my egg poached TOH had hers fried. They did apologise about the no lids on the tea pot due to them being smashed. On the whole nice breakfast good service. I think you could have the same for cheaper in Shrewbury. £10pp for the breakfast.
