Took a chance to travel across the river to The Meat for dinner with a friend (both of us are steak lovers) and I must give this restaurant a full thumbs up for excellent service, great ambience and the some of the best steaks I have had in a while. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cakes, which were really really good, and has a little spice kick to it. We then had the lobster and scampi bisque, which was light but rich - superb. The came the real treats - the Changbai Mountain China sirloin, which had great marbling and flavour. After that came the Jackâs Creek F1 Wagyu, which had a more gamey taste, but we enjoyed it for its different flavour. I highly recommend this restaurant, even if you have a travel a bit to get there. First Reuben ever in China. Maybe a tad dry but flavorful and full of meat. The egg salad was one of the best I have had anywhere. Prices for Shanghai were surprisingly reasonable. Location was easy to find from the East Nanjing subway station. About a 10 minute walk. I will will be here every visit to Shanghai from now on.

Probably one of the best burger I ever had in my life. Everything was perfect. Really I'm not exaggerating, the burger was perfection. I got the Black pepper one.
