Freddy's is located along the main route through town. They are known for their delicious frozen custard, but they also have a great menu with burgers, hot dogs, chicken and fish.

We were in Sedalia to attend the Lieutenant Governor's Dinner and Wine Reception. We were checking out of our motel right across the street very early in the morning around 5:30 a.m. We saw Perkins across the street and decided to have breakfast before we headed home. We were the first ones in there, and the waitress was extremely friendly and efficient. I had the eggs cooked in the center of a piece of toast, just like Cher in the movie, "Moonstruck," with a side of bacon and decaf coffee. All were delicious. My husband had a huge breakfast of eggs, sausage links, toast and pancakes and he, too, commented on how tasty everything was. All-in-all, a great way to start the day!

Good food but terrible service, disgusting restrooms. Ate here with my in laws and hubby. Initially we had three different waitresses trying to take our orders as we were awaiting dad to arrive. Finally, weâre ready. Our waitresses took our order as if we were bothering her - âis that it?â - ânextâ. No table side manners - everything was abrupt until it was time to pay.

We stopped here for breakfast and it was perfect. We had the two specials: Ham Steak, eggs and hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. We also had a few empanadas on the side. Everything was cooked perfectly, just as we like it. The hasbrowns were crispy and the eggs had the perfect custard center. The empanadas were especially fantastic, served with their house-made verde hot sauce! The ladies serving us were very sweet and let me try out my Spanish a bit. There were lots of locals there, too, which says a lot about a place.

Another Good MealWe eat at Coltons often. My favorite steak at Coltons is the Hawaiian Ribeye. The sirloin tips with peppers/onions is also a good choice. The garden salad is always fresh and crisp.Restaurant is always clean, except for the peanut shells on the floor. So if someone in your family has a peanut allergy, you will orobably want to skip Coltons! Lots of flat parking and lots of tables-booths inside,

Our family gathers yearly in Sedalia, Missouri for gravesite visits followed by a shared lunch. This year, we had 14 for lunch at Fitters. Our server was welcoming and handled the numerous orders expertly.I ordered their Cuban Reuben, which was excellent. And a K.C.Bier Co. Dunkel beer, which was exceptional. My wife had a club sandwich, described as tasty. My mother-in-law had a small pizza she greatly enjoyed. Service was excellent throughout the meal, and the setting significantly contributed to this very enjoyable family gathering.

I would greatly recommend Bandana's in Sedalia for your eating pleasure, if you enjoy good BBQ. The ribs are the best, finger licking good! My wife says she doesn't even need any sauce, although I like the sauce's, especially the Hot. Also, the speed and service of the staff is great, you will not find a better, friendlier staff anywhere else. I love this place, and eat here at least twice a month.

Dinner. Drinks. Downtown. Meet me at the Grille tonight! Located inside the Historic Hotel Bothwell.
My wife and I and a friend motored to Sedalia to see an exhibition at The Daum. We had reservations at Bothwell Hotel, so it made sense to sample its restaurant The Ivory Grille. We are happy with the choice. We received a nice pour of the house wine. The salads were absolutely fresh and tasty. Our entrees -- the trout, pork chop and chicken with pasta -- all were good. The trout was a bit dry. And the chop a bit overcooked. But not disastrously so. Service was attentive, friendly and prompt. Surroundings were very nice and we actually could hear one another speak. We enjoyed the experience and would return to the Ivory Grille when in Sedalia.

We manage to visit LBHCC about twice a year and always have something BBQ'd. I decided to branch out this time and have the Smoked Brisket Salad. So glad I did. When the brisket is on a sandwich smothered in their great BBQ sauce you don't realize just how good the brisket is. The meat is tender and full of flavor. The salad is huge and I'm glad I got the dressing on the side so I could take half the salad home. The lettuce is crisp and well dried, the grated cheese is large enough to taste and the red onion and tomato are generous. My husband had the ribs that were as good as always. If you haven't tried the Portabella Mushroom appetizer yet, you should. This experimenting with something new is fun. So what will I try next? Thanks for your delightful review! So glad you enjoyed your meal.

The food is always well-prepared (the salads are pristine), and the menu has a huge variety. Prices are fair, and portions are generous. I love all of the flavor combinations in their sandwiches, but the barbecue is incredible, too. My sons-in-law insist on a meal here whenever they are in town!
