IHOP is all about breakfast and pancakes, but they have delicious Crapes. Staff is friendly and you get your food fast. Check online for coupons and specials. Did I say they have great Crapes? After a round of mini gold (nearby) this is a great way to replenish energy.

Welcome to California Grill! Located just across the street from Whittier College, California Grill has been serving food up "fresh, fast and fun" for more than a decade. It's our pleasure to provide you with a comfortable, family-oriented atmosphere, gre
The brunch time crowd was bustling in this local diner. The wait was short and we were quickly seated. The menu included a variety of breakfast and lunch options. Our server was friendly and our food seemed to come out in minutes. Typical breakfast fare although the pancakes were oddly salty! Details:-garden omelette - good. lots of veggies and fruit was fresh. It came with some mild salsa on the side. Second side of a muffin was huge and equally good.-pancakes - short stack was rubbery and salty-NY steak and eggs - thumbs up good

This place is seriously overrated. I took my family here and we order several dishes. After 20 minutes of waiting the waitress who never even introduced herself told us they were out of salmon and quinoa. We replaced it with chicken but that also took another 30 minutes. We made friends with the table next door who also waited more then an hour for their food and experience the same issue of having to reorder something else. I donât get why the cashier is not aware of the items out of stock, itâs idiotic to allowed people to order then be force to order something they really donât want. If it wasnât because the rest of my party had already eaten some appetizers and salad I would have gone somewhere else. The table next door ask to speak to the manager, he or she never came while we were there. The place is chaotic and loud. Worse then that, the floor was filthy, the tables messy and due to the crowd and lack of employees it looked like a cheap mall food court. The food is good but not worth the wait or the lack of service. In my opinion the menu is good but useless if they are not going to keep their inventory full. I wanted to give this place a chance based on the reviews but this is California, we thrive on delicious food and fantastic service. I wonât be coming back here and definitely wonât recommend it to anyone.

If you feel assaulted by corporate restaurants and color design consultants and frozen food prepared 3 states away and shipped to be warmed or microwaved, then Pop's Cafe is a great alternative. This is how all small restaurants used to be before they were owned by financial conglomerates. While I ate there, I didn't ask to meet "Pop's," but I'm pretty sure there must be one. If not now, then at one time. This place is small and there might be a wait on weekend days, but it's worth it. This is food prepared to taste good and not just to fill one's stomach. The day I was there I was craving oatmeal with a side of sausage and that's what I got. But, I was looking at the other conventional breakfasts going by and saw that they were looking excellent. This is a place not to be missed. Make a special trip to go there if you are in the neighborhood.

Relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas.
Five of us had a long dinner, not because of the service (that was EXCELLENT) but because we talked so much and ordered a lot. The best part was at the end when we ordered an apple huckleberry pie and it was heavy on the apples and very light on the huckleberries. I teased the waitress that her tip would be based on how many huckleberries we found, and at the end, she came out with a little dish of huckleberries that she found on her search in the freezer! Cutest thing ever. I even gave her a hug upon departure. The food was very good, the atmosphere was great, getting to know our new friends in such a place was a wonderful, but our waitress was a pure delight. I wish I could remember her name. Nakeene or Nikaa or some unusual name. Two syllables I know.

A bit disappointed because this was rated number one breakfast place in Whittier and expectations were high. Had a nice 60s vibe and I think much of the restaurant original to that period or before. Great service and a very wide variety menu. Coffee was fine and hash browns were tasty. Blueberry pancakes were pretty awful though. Not fluffy and not sure where blueberries were from. Eggs Benedict just okay and I am guessing hollandaise sauce from a can. I asked about corned beef hash and found out it was canned. I wonât go here again but if you do I would stick to basics like bacon and eggs or maybe French toast. Would not expect anything fresh or clean here. Seems like a lot of other people like this place but not us.

Place has solid food but nothing that would qualify as gourmet. I had the beef barely soup which was good but very salty. My son had a burger which he liked. The best part were the fries. Nicer than fast food but they are relatively cheap. Atmosphere was casual and clean. Worth giving a try if you want pub type food.

We came her for a special treat and were not disappointed. Treated like Queens. From having our Cesar salad tossed table side to the fish prepared to perfection, this is old school Hollywood in a very swanky little nook of Pico Rivera. The interior and exterior is a nod to the past. Every inch was something delightful to behold. We can't wait to come back again!!
