We found this place on trip advisor and were not disappointed. I had fried pickles and a pulled pork plate. It was very good the service was very good. One of us had a loaded baked potato and a salad. It was all good. The only negative was the music playing. It seemed more for the help rather than the patrons. But we will go back when we are in the area

Trout fishing in the area we were told this was a good restaurant for a steak. You have your choice of two steaks, Ribeye or Strip in 8 oz, 12 oz or 16 oz. The owner ages his meat for 45 days and everytime a steak is ordered it is cut fresh. There were three of us and we ordered a 16 oz strip, 16 oz Ribeye and half rack of ribs. Our steaks were cooked perfect at Medium and the other Medium Well. The owner came around to the tables, which are appropriattely spaced apart, and asked how our meals were. I told him I thought my steak was much larger than 16 oz and he said it was probably closer to 20 oz. And that's when he explained the aging of the beef and that he cuts each steak fresh per order. We also had a baked potatoe and nice lettuce salad. The service was excellent and no roof for homemade desserts. Well satisfied and very happy to reccommend the restaurant. I have review a lot of restaurants in a lot of countries, but this is the only restaurant I have given an excellent rating in every catagory.
Good location right next to my hotel. Used to getting subs from subway but thought I'd try pizza this time. When the guy pulled the pizza out of the freezer should have taken as a sign that wasn't going to taste fresh like their motto. They put my choice of veggies on and put it in heater. When tasted it, pizza was still very cold at center but luckily still in restaurant so could ask them to reheat it. The second time around the pizza was well cooked but spinach was singed so a disappointing meal.
We were actually looking for another restaurant but the GPS failed us (sort of.) This was a blessing in disguise. The place is a small, clean cafe. We all had breakfast. Portions were large but not humongous. Hash browns were extra crispy. The bacon was amazing!! Smoked, I guess, but meaty & tender. Eggs were done OM (over medium) just right. Sausage & biscuits: side order was 1 whole biscuit w/lots of gravy, & very tasty. French toast was the only things that was just OK. But the bill was $50 for 7 people, all w/drinks & full breakfast. The decor was also fun, with old-fashioned 'sales' signs hung throughout. The younger waitress we has was also on top of things, even tho she seemed to be working by herself & the place was pretty busy. The only aspect which surprised me was that someone was smoking inside the restaurant...coming from IL, where this practice is no longer allowed, this was unexpected. But it wasn't overwhelming, and we enjoyed our breakfast anyway.
