The Friday night prime rib, or fish if you prefer, includes a wonderful salad bar.. even homemade soup !Order a Rustic burger any day, not a frozen preformed patty, but a large juicy burger...the best around. Out of the way, close to Dexter, the golf course view in the even time offers glimpses of visiting deer!
We are a sandwich shop that serves specialty sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, a variety of baked goods, various beverages to include coffee, milk, juice, soda, and water.
Wife and I went for breakfast last Fall when they opened and had great food and great Black Rifle coffee (buy a bag!). I was alone this trip and heading out of town mid-afternoon. One of the owners (sorry, forgot the name) was working; one of the best parts of a small town was seeing her toddler and infant there also. The 1812 on ciabatta was delicious - roast beef, avocado, tomato, onion. Great flavor, fresh roll and filling. Perfect fuel to get me back to New England. (Chips are served in a brown paper bag which is a nice touch too.)

Small hometown diner. In the spring it is the only place for along way's which serve Bullhead dinners. You can choose dinner, basket or all you can eat. My husband loves bullhead and he says it is very good. Served with fresh cut fries and homemade excellent coleslaw! My favorite thing is their Tomato Mac Soup, it is some of the best I have ever had! LOVE.....RECOMMEND to try. This visit I got the Hot Turkey sandwich with fries and corn and cranberry sauce. Was homemade and tasty. Last visit had the patty melt special which was really good. Service is usually pretty good. Unless only one waitresss is on. We have never been for breakfast but they do that as well. Worth a trip to try!

While staying nearby, we dropped in during the afternoon to check the menu and stayed for a beverage at the bar, returning later that evening for dinner. The restaurant has a beautiful waterfront setting on Black River Bay/Lake Ontario and consists of a beautifully reconstructed building and newer addition with plenty of windows facing the water. The restaurant was fairly quiet aiding with fast service and preferred seating, which was also pleasant and efficient. Our dinners arrived hot and as ordered, with the only complaint being the mixed vegetables which were soggy as cooked from frozen. The restaurant also has a lovely outdoor patio in addition to a lower dock style patio in the boat basin. A great spot for boaters, tourists and locals and if dining in the evening, the sunsets can be spectacular!

The Sackets Boathouse is located ON Lake Ontario, with a large deck over the water and gorgeous views from the Dining Room and Bar. Our "Sophisticated Casual" menu is inspired from global travels and features finger foods, filet mignon, and fabulous desse
We had reservations for 7:30 (wife and myself) but arrived early and were seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. After we were seated, we realized the hostess only gave us one menu! No problem, we just shared. Waiter came over within minutes, took our drink order and went searching for another menu... None to be found! We actually laughed about it, ordered our appetizers and enjoyed the setting and view. The food was very good and portions plentiful. Service was good - could of been a little better but we weren't in a hurry or waiting long for anything. We were enjoying ourselves. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed it very much.

Sackets Harbor Brewing Company operates one of New York Stateâs oldest continuing microbreweries featuring both a working brewery and dining establishment. Located in historic Sackets Harbor, NY, and situated on the shore of Lake Ontario with amazing view
A worker at the nearby Visitors Center recommended this restaurant. I told my friend that it would probably be very expensive. When we saw the menu we were pleasantly surprised. We shared two items: a roasted beet salad and a wrap. The kitchen divided the items up for us. Both were very good. Our server was friendly and efficient. We had a great view of the harbor, which was an added bonus.

Had an enjoyable Sunday brunch on the patio. The Battered Haddock Sandwich is delicious and comes on special dill bread, but definitely enough for 2. I brought home half for a 2nd meal, lightly crispy breading and flaky Haddock. The Lobster Roll was generous and fairly priced. Soft Shell Crab Sandwich was very good light pinko breading and again a large sandwich. Breakfast BLT included maple smoked bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, 2 eggs, avocado and tomato aioli on choice of bread w/hash browns really good. We tried the Chocolate trifle very decadent. Bloody Mary hit the spot...for portion sizes and type of food felt prices were good except for Club soda @$2.75/glass + no refill. Feel that is high.
