It all began back in 1962 when Rye Ridge Deli first opened as âThe Surreyâ, an old fashioned luncheonette, before being sold to Joe Witkin and Sam Small circa 1970. Harry Martin, the current owner, bought Rye Ridge on December 12, 1983. Harry always wante
We ate here while in the area twice, breakfast and dinner. It was great both times. First time we had great service from the server the second time we had an older lady that never checked back with us we had to flag her down every time to get any service. Other than that is was great meals both times. Hi Angela, thank you for this great review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your meals with us, and if you are ever in the area again we would love to see you again!

Not only are the burgers (on toasted bread) very good; the onion rings are fantastic. Much better than going to more expensive made-to-order burger places. A good meal for two with a diet soda and a shake only costs $22. You can even sit outside on a bench in nice weather.

Had 3 different types of oysters for a total of 18 and most were flavorless and 4 still had shell in them....what happened to the Elm Street Oyster House? Used to be good for oysters and now not...server was also a bit rude on a very quiet afternoon with only two other tables. Clam chowder was good

It's amaz'g to me that there's more Greek food truk's in Yonk'rs than there are salad joints. But no matt'r as Chop't in Rye Brook is ready and willn'g to serve your salad needn'g urges. While waitn'g in line, I count'd there's more ways to order a salad than Trump said "wrong" in his debates.I've tast'd a few and they've all been great. Chop't has truly made salads great again.

Top notch wait service and food combined with a stunning bar and open, airy/open main restaurant area with generous seating areas and hip vibe. Excellent cocktail and wine list too, in addition to great menu lineup of seafood and land dishes. Calamari, Oysters, Key lime pie favorites

This rating was a challenge. Kids ordered burger and chicken quesadillas. GF Burger was served not as ordered. Missed the lettuce, tomato and bacon. Quesadilla was very much enjoyed. Adults had a GF burger and cold peel and eat shrimp. Both fine. So why the average rating??? Simply put. Why would a Restaraunt that only has one stall/toilet in its menâs room tape the broken toilet seat together with black duct tape. Either replace the seat or buy a new toilet!! Just astonishing how management thinks sometimes. Who is watching the store ?

I have come here several times for retirement parties. They have a nice room near the buffet and restaurant which seats about a 100 people. The buffet is always really good with a nice salad bar, a selection of hot entrees and a carving board which usually has a pasta item a fish item and some type of meat. This most recent time had excellent ravioli and roast beef. The dessert selection especially the cream puffs and the cookies are 1st rate.

In the UK this would be a gastro pub. This large restaurant has a wide menu of basic dishes which it executes very well. There is also outdoor seating if the weather permits and parking. The dishes are reliable and well made, service is excellent. A really pleasant place for Sunday lunch, when it is child friendly.

New American Restaurant that focuses on Quality ingredients yet still very approachable with a mix of Classic as well as Innovative dishes. Large Private room and Smaller private rooms available for all typesof events.
Excellent service on a snowy weekday when there were NO other people there for lunch. Sit by the fireplace and enjoy the atmosphere! Surprisingly good Chinese dumpling appetizer. Huge and tasty Char burger with fixings -- mushrooms, cheese, onions. Lunch special combinations are very fairly priced. Plenty of parking. We'll be back soon, as an out of towner listing on business from time to time.
