This restaurant was formally the location of a fish restaurant called " Oceans 5". I believe they are the same owners but have completely changed the look inside & the menu offerings. Atmosphere is great. There is a brand new, much larger bar. The table seating area is larger also. The wait staff was excellent, very helpful. The food was very good, cooked as requested. The menu offerings were good choices, that could cater to any taste. Overall a good experience, & a nice addition to the area.

Having met other family members at McArthur Airport the consensus was to find somewhere open for lunch on New Year's Day quite near home. Without having to search too longwe found that the Town House Diner was open. It was quite busy but the staff coped well with 4 children struggling to make their choices from the very large menu. My own choice of French toast with Canadian bacon was very straightforward. The coffee was very good. All in all a successful venture.

A Very friendly, efficient, delicious food place to go to in Rocky Point. We enjoy the food, creative cocktails and craft beer selections. Then there are the delicious desserts and bakery goods that we always take some home for later. The restaurant is very cool looking and always very clean. Go and enjoy

For over 36 years, Sea Basin has continued to rise above the tide with its winning Italian and seafood recipes, excellent service and cozy surroundings.
First day of restaurant week fall 2018 decided to try a local favorite which we had not visited for many years. What a great surprise. Our complete meal included a fabulous 1.5 pound stuffed lobster perfectly prepared and presented. My wife was also pleased with her delicious mango salmon over lump crab cake. Stuffed clams for me and grilled shrimp over stewed eggplant for my wife as our first course. Tartufo (look it up) and chocolate mouse rounded out our meal and our stomachs.

Less than a mile from the beautiful Long Island Sound, Oceans 5 Seafood Market and Eatery offers fresh seafood market on one side and an elegant dining experience on the other, Oceans 5 offers even the most discerning food lover an amazing and tantalizing
Upon entering this restaurant you first pass by the fresh fish cases, including some delightful looking prepared takeout dishes. The atmosphere was serene, with tables covered in white tablecloths set against very pale blue wainscoat, oversized black and white photos having to do with fishing and fish markets, and multiple small bulbs on delicate looking fixtures providing soft light. This walk to our table for 3 was to be the best part of the evening! Service was extremely slow, especially given that there were no more than 4 tables of diners. The bread was served with spiced olive oil. The olive oil was very tasty, but the bread, which had been mildly toasted, was cold to the touch and Was not fresh. The salads were quite good and the lettuce tasted very fresh. We waited a very long time for our dinner plates after the salad. Not once did our waiter come to our table to ask anything at all. The young woman who removed our salad plates simply picked them up and walked away along with the bread and olive oil, not bothering to ask if we were done. After what seemed like ages, our meals were brought; 2 of the fish and chips with fresh green beans, and the third of breaded tilapia. The fish and chips were supposed to be beer battered cod. It was so incredibly greasy and overlooked that my plate had a layer of oil from pressing on the gathered fish with the back of my fork. A small part of the batter was burned black. The tilapia looked nice but was mostly mundane and tasteless as well as greasy. I did not eat my meal beyond the first bite because of the oiliness. My dinner partners did, and I heard from both this morning that they did not have a good night due to stomach upset. I returned my fish and chips stating that it was way too oily and it was taken off the bill. As we were leaving the restaurant, we saw in the take out case of prepared food, the very same beer battered cod, ready to be purchased, taken home and reheated. We looked at each other and immediately knew that our fish and chips had already been cooked and no doubt thrown in the fryer to reheat...thus, accounting for the greasiness and very mushy consistency of the cod itself. This was my 4th visit in 3 years, and most likely I won't return. Perhaps it is the seemingly vibrant bar crowd that keeps this place going. I for one will not repeat my visit.Thank you for letting us know about your meal and I sincerely apologize that you did not enjoy your dining experience with us. We take our customer feedback seriously and I have relayed what you have mentioned to the chef and staff. Again, I am very sorry that your visit was less than optimal and if there is any way we can make it up to you we would be happy to do so.

Although itâs against a golf course, this place will never be known for its ambience, however the food and staff more than make up for it. Visiting our daughter this past weekend, we went there Friday night and all the serving portions, including my wifeâs salad were generous in size. They have a nice beer selection, and everyone was very pleasant. Youâre going to pay a little more, but that might also be Long Island too.

Life is too short to dine at mediocre restaurants. This restaurant is far from mediocre....it is fantastic! Try the fried calamari or mussels or baked clams....all great. The fresh fish, whatever way you like, is always good. We like fish prepared oreganato. The lamb we had was cooked to perfection. Happy hour is terrific and if you like beer...they have many superior brands and choices. We will try this again very soon.
