The Littlerock Saloon is what you might call a 'stop by for a beer on your way home from work' bar. It's the sort of place where bikers and bicyclists, farmers, ranchers and state workers sit down side by side, and there's not a bit of acrimony. Every once in a great while, someone will ride up on a horse. It's not just a bar, though. It could be "Cheers" in the rough. It's not pretentious or fancy. The floor has seen better days, as have the tables. Three televisions were showing (but not blowing us away with sound) a football game, a baseball game, and a show about rebuilding muscle cars. There's a couple of pool tables, (not in use when we were there), and a fireplace to sit by. There's a place to sit outside and eat/drink, but don't be impressed-your view is not the fancyshmancy places you may have been at in the past. The new owners have really gone all out in making themselves a part of this little village. They host a 4th of July parade, have bonfires (please don't laugh when you see that they spell it bombfire..their heart is in the right place). They allow a village wide swap meet to set up in their large parking lot. They raise money for Christmas baskets for the all too many poor families in the area, and are very active in the breast cancer 'walk for the cure'. The bathroom is clean, with a chalkboard on which to doodle or make comments. I drew a horse. To top it all, the food was good! My husband had the burger and I had halibut and chips. Both were very good, not your industrialized fish, although the fries were obviously out of a frozen food box. And they have plenty of microbrews, to include Dick's, the brewery for which is about fifteen miles from the saloon. Portions and prices were very reasonable. When you park, please go and pay your respects to the mighty (if broken) big leafed maple tree in the corner, next to the road. (for those who might be thinking it: NO. She is not suitable for guitar wood or furniture.) The owners have put a couple chairs underneath her shade. The tree has been through some rough times, to include some idiot trying to poison her, but is still hanging tough. She's over a 100 years old, and still chugging. PLEASE don't park on her roots. You wouldn't want someone standing on your toes, neither does she. .

We came here a few years ago with my sister and her husband when we were not on Weight Watchers. We went again recently to see if there were enough healthy options to fit into the diet. We were satisfied after ordering salads and the Smothered Top Sirloin dinner. We were able to get double vegetables rather than the starch or deep fried options, and the veggies were good. The steak was pretty lean and the onions and mushrooms were a delicious accompaniment. We sat in the lounge area which was quieter and had all the same options. They didn't even seem to mind that we didn't order alcohol. The server Caleb was very friendly, efficient, and attentive -- thanks Caleb! It was an enjoyable evening with interesting surroundings, food and service. We will definitely come back when traveling through Centralia.
This is a real interesting place. The owners are very personable and laid back. It's real quiet with all kinds of knick knacks to look at while there. Rabbits play outside the window in the yard. The food is good and beats most of the other places to eat nearby. We were in the neighborhood for days and returned for a second visit. For this area, I'd recommend it.

I ordered a couple of dirty chai tea lattes for myself and my husband yesterday, and they were so yummy! Hot drinks! Smooth coffee! Not too sweet, but blended well! I will definitely be back!

It is obvious that walking into Judy's one can tell that the establishment is a local icon. A bit out of the way in in the industrial port area of Centralia Judy's has been serving patrons of the area for a long time. The restaurant has a home-town cafe feel to it with many regular customers visiting on the day we were there. We were greeted warmly and immediately and seated moments later in a window booth. Once we ordered I thought it took a bit longer than it should have for our food to order but it was the busy breakfast time of day. For our meal my wife had her standards eggs, bacon and pancakes and I went for the German Sausage and eggs. The food was good and there is plenty of it. The value of the meal was on par for a local diner of this type as the bill was pretty much what was expected. Even thought the restaurant is rated #1 in the area the food was not of such high quality to bring us back for a second visit. See you on the trail and please try to remember to treat with dignity and respect, all whom with you come in contact.John F

Meet friends who take the gambling bus up from Portland. They come for the day. We don't gamble but do eat ! Today, I had the clam chowder, salad bar, cold shrimp, salmon, roasted veggies, and warm bread pudding for dessert. Wasn't Senior Day which must be significantly cheaper, but was happy with $11.95 making this my only meal of the day. Everything I had was yummy.

Mother's Day Brunch at 11:15am.. this casino is 15 minutes off I-5. The Buffett is good for Northwest Seafood. Like Dungeness, fried and fresh cocktail shrimp, salmon cooked over open fire, fried Cod, prime rib, fried Chicken, Snd a nice desserts. Plus much more. The place is clean, very open. The staff stays Busy taking care of the guests. If you don't like cold you can ask the Cooks behind the counter to heat in boiling water, takes 5 minutes. Yummy to fresh crab Snd hot butter.
