Just happened to stop at this restaurant as we were driving back to our hotel after a visit to the Creation Museum. Parked next to the restaurant and went to go inside. The first door was the entrance to the Lawrenceburger, a hamburger joint named after the town. We were interested in more than a hamburger and a beer so went further around the building until we found the right entrance. The place as full of surprises. Back in its heyday, the building was a button factory with many smaller rooms. These rooms are now different pieces of atmosphere in the restaurant and are invitingly quiet and with low key lighting. The menu has many interesting and delicious choices â one of the most favorites being the fall off the bone ribs and with a most delicious sides to be found â coleslaw buried in ground up peanuts! The next day we stopped again and had the fish and chips â delicious and a most generous helping. If we ever come back this way we will stop in again.

We were there on a Saturday night and it was recommended to us by family and the desk at the DoubleTree. Very busy place and had to wait about 1/2 hour for a table. After being seated, the service was fast and the pizza was good. Of course, we all have expectations based on our experiences with pizzarias at our hometown, but we would go back again.

Jane's Saddlebag in nestled on the banks of the Ohio river in Northern Kentucky. We are a tourist destination which include a Restaurant, Whine shoppe, General Store, Petting Zoo, Kids village, special events and host to company parties. We offer somethin
A wine and bourbon maker, this is a family friendly attraction complete with petting zoo, playground, and a child sized "town" that includes a photo-op jail. A restaurant featuring homemade food and a small General Store. Parking is in a pasture and the downpour on our visit caused cars to struggle with the mud, but a handy tractor pulled people out quickly. We came for the wine festival, but noticed that the petting zoo was not included with admission and was an extra cost of $8 which seemed pretty pricey to us. Not sure if that's the regular cost or it was part of the Children's Hospital fund raising. We may visit again one pretty (dry) day to see what the non-festival offerings are available. It's a lovely drive through the country to get there.

We went here on a whim on a Friday night. It had been several years since our last visit (a somewhat dissapointing experience) so were very pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant has changed tremendously--and all for the better. The service was excellent. Our server, Nate, deserves a special shout out. The ambience and atmosphere is great. The food was excellent. We weren't in the mood for a big meal so I had the potato gnocci and a corn and lobster chowder. My husband had a cheese burger and fries. Everything was very good. We also shared an apple crumble which was incredibly good. We will definitely return soon to try the steak. We stopped in the bar before we left and were pleased to see they had live music in a beautifully restored setting.

Dan and Lani Valas started Great Crescent Brewery in November 2008 in a small storefront on 2nd Street in Aurora, IN. Since these humble beginnings they have expanded into a historic building built in 1843 which served as the warehouse for the Thomas and
Hidden Gem! Best tasting beer in the Cincinnati area! Taste the difference! The water, grains and brew master create a top beer. A wonderful quality brew. The food is fresh and not processed. The BBQ sauce was home-made. I loved the 1930's bar in the historic building environment.I loved the English and Scottish style beers as well as the blood orange! Amazingly fresh! The Blood Orange has fresh blood orange juice added to the beer.Thank you for taking time to give us a review. We really appreciate that you enjoyed your visit and shared your experience with others.Cheers, Dan

We wanted to enjoy some local Kentucky cuisine on our vacation so we chose the Tousey House. The restaurant is in an old house which is in great condition. Parking is limited but there is a free lot across the street. The interior is nice. You can tell that the building is old, but it is kept up nicely. The tables have linen table cloths. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was good. The complimentary bread was delicious. For appetizers we ordered the beer cheese and the Goetta egg rolls. Both were tasty. For our entrees we ordered the fried chicken and the Hot Brown sandwich. The chicken was amazing. Genuine authentic southern, dare I say Kentucky fried chicken. It was so juicy and delicious. The Hot Brown must be a local thing because it didn't do it for us. The meat was tasty, but the combination with the cheese, sauce and meat just wasn't to our liking. The food is pricey. This was a pretty expensive meal. Overall it was a good experience for local cuisine.

Iâve dined at Wellingtonâs a number of times and every time itâs a hit or a miss. The last time I dined there, service was great, food was excellent and of course the ambience is good, never changes. But itâs always a âgambleâ!

From outstanding to yuck! That is what has happened to Rising Starâs buffet. After eating the brunch the past two times and coming away with a feeling that the food was left over, warmed over and stale we decided to try the seafood buffet. What a mistake! Fried shrimp was ice cold. Crab legs looked like seconds. Prime rib looked dry and when asked if a piece could be done a little more was told that the grill was down.Salad bar gave the impression and taste that it had been sitting there for a while. The sides were cold and mediocre. The only good thing was the server

This place has that small town feel to it. The people were very nice. I had a hamburger for lunch and it was delicious. I enjoyed my meal and atmosphere and will return if I come out this way again.

A cute town, visiting to do genealogy research. Jackâs is casual, with friendly, laid back staff. The place was completely full for lunch, yet was a quiet setting. I ordered a ham, cheese sandwich with the special sauce! I loved my sandwich! The sauce was perfect with the ham, and just the right amount of melted cheese. Plus the service was quick and the price was right!
