Find out what American restaurants to try in Rising Fawn. Rising Fawn is a small unincorporated community in the southern part of Dade County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is also the location of Cloudland Canyon State Park. Rising Fawn was named after the child of a Cherokee Indian chieftain. The custom was to name the child after the first thing seen. On the following dawn, the chief saw a fawn rise from its bed and thought that he hadn't seen anything more beautiful. He then named his child Rising Fawn.
I had a really bad experience a friend and I went for a breakfast. They were doing a promotion. The lady behind counter had her child behind the counter playing with bread racks and she kept slinging her hair back over her shoulder while making our food. We took sandwiches home to our dogs and ate at Mcdonalds. Couldn't eat it after that haven't been back contacted manager he didn't reply thanks but no thanks I love subway and its not much futher to go to the one in walmart on Cummings hwy.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
Stopped in for breakfast on a Tuesday. It wasn't busy and based on the food that's understandable. The service was good, but everything feels and looks pretty dirty. The ketchup bottle about slide out of my fingers it was so greasy. Hash browns were cold and not at all crispy and biscuits were cold and hard. Very disappointing! Food didn't look anything like the pictures in the menu.
Krystal is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia that has been serving up southern favorites since 1932. It is known for its small, square hamburgers with fresh-steamed buns, hot-off-the-grill. Other Krystal favorites in
Stopped here for a little bit of nostalgia. 15 minutes later and 12 cheeseburgers with 2 orders of fries, not so much. They weren't as tasty as I remembered from years ago. Hardly any flavor and was almost too wet even though I know how they're cooked.

We pride ourselves on serving high quality food, using fresh and local ingredients, home-cooked to order. We offer a variety of delicious sandwiches, mouth watering burgers, and exciting daily specials. We look forward to seeing y'all soon!
We stopped for lunch and had burgers. I was surprised that they were so large. Both burgers were cooked exactly the way we asked, not someone else's interpretation of "medium". Service was excellent and staff was very friendly. The interior is unique with it's semi-industrial (is there such a thing?) look. Prices are very fair. We look forward to returning in the future.
Hello from Colty and the gang! We look forward to seeing you. You serve pork, chicken, beef, brisket and turkey all smoked for hours and then hand pulled. We also serve our fall off the bone ribs. We have daily specials and daily veggies. We are locally o
Friendly people, but their actual bbq meat was just âokay.â The sides, however, they were awful. The tater tots were literally inedible. They looked and tasted like they had been sitting around for HOURS. They were greasy, soggy, and barely lukewarm. They went into the trash can. The corn on the cob was a soft, soggy, spongy frozen cobbette that was truly horrible. Iced tea was as weak as water. There really was not anything worth eating from this place. To serve sides like that to accompany their food was just shameful. And we spent $30 on food! Terrible waste of money.First I'd like to apologize for your experience. We slow smoke all of our meat. Our ribs and brisket fall apart. Our tots, fries, nuggets. .. Are air fried so we apologize you found them greasy. We don't use grease. Maybe you will have a chance to try us again and we can make your visit better.
We visited this place 2 times once for ice cream and once for breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Would definitely eat the again! Thanks bamaside!

We camped in the Trenton Area last weekend and we had dinner Saturday night at Thatchers. The food was very good and the portions were so generous that we should have ordered one plate and split it. We really enjoyed our meal and plan to make sure we eat here again the next time we are in the area.
They have turned the old Depot Diner location into the Cornerstone. Kent and Penny Bangs Huff are the hands on owners and are providing great food at a reasonable price. Kent is in the kitchen putting his spin on old favorites. Catfish was incredible and the Saturday special of chicken and dressing was so good!. I hope the locals as well as out of towners help them succeed. They are definitely just what Rising Fawn needs.Just be patient as they are still working out the kinks as all new businesses do.

Ten of us showed up at 11:00 Friday and they got tables together immediately. Drinks were served And orders placed. All ten of us were very happy with our meals. Grilled pimento cheese excellent. Chili excellent. Hamburgers looked wonderful. The fried catfish was polished off. Onion rings were served with a nice remolade. Beer and wine are offered. Meg and April (the manager) weâre attractive and helpful. The decor (new) is a perfect combination of rustic and French country. Weâre going back for breakfast. Please join us!

Canyon Grill was recommended to us by our AirBnB hosts. I wrote down the address and when we were ready to go, we plugged the address into Waze. We were given an arrival time for just over 30 minutes later; and we were only about three miles from there. I Googled the address again, to make sure I didn't write it down incorrectly. Same results. We finally just put "Canyon Grill" directly into Wave. About the same amount of time to get there, but it gave us a different address. All that to give you a heads up that it may take you quite a bit longer to get there than you'd think.Brenda was our server and she was of no help whatsoever in deciding what to order! We asked her how the filet was; her response, "Delicious" We inquired about the duck... "Delicious". Everything we asked about was "Delicious". Well, one of my pet peeves is when servers say that everything is always wonderful. But let me tell you... Brenda was right... everything WAS "Delicious"!!I ended up choosing the Slash N Burn Catfish with the Black Bean Sauce on the side. I really didn't want the sauce at all because I don't like black beans. Brenda convinced me to at least try the sauce. I did. I could have just eaten that for soup and been happy. But no, they had to bring out this HUGE catfish. I was amazed at how well it was cooked. My friend had the filet mignon (with added blue cheese crumbles, per Brenda's suggestion). He loved it!We shared four sides: crispy potatoes, fried okra, fried squash and garlic mashed potatoes. There was NOT a bad bite to be had. Kevin, the Executive Chef, came over to speak with us and make sure we were enjoying everything. We very much appreciated his taking time out to visit. I was just so impressed with the quality (and quantity) of the food, the service, everything. We live in Nashville and haven't enjoyed a meal of this caliber in quite a while. Of course, we had to have dessert! I chose the Coconut Cake and holy cow... it was quite different than what I had expected... and yes, it was "Delicious", just as Brenda had promised. We will be returning to Canyon Grill each time we are near the area. Good food, great people... can't ask for more. See you in a couple of weeks!
