Historic Foster's Coach House Tavern, originally constructed in 1890 as The Village Tavern, is owned and managed by the same Rhinebeck family since 1965. Well-known throughout the Hudson Valley for top-notch London Broil, homemade soups, Stuffed Clams, an
We stopped in for a quick bite after a movie. I tried the London Broil with a side of Lasagna! (How cool is that combination?). It was all delicious. My guests enjoyed their meals too (burger/french onion soup, shrimp scampi). The service was excellent/ We look forward to returning for dinner sometime soon.

We had dinner here and ate in the bar rather than the more formal dining room. It was so laid-back, comfortable and cozy, I felt like staying the whole evening. The food was good, they have a great selection of craft beers, and the old paneling and bar makes one feel very at home. Staff could have been a little more attentive, as they weren't that busy.

Pete's Famous has had an long-standing Rhinebeck presence in the village center. In reality, it's a diner with the typically expected fare. The prices are very reasonable and the quantities are generous. There is ample seating at the counter, booths or at tables. The service is friendly and attentive. Don't expect a gourmet meal, just good home-styled cooking. You won't walk away hungry!

The Amsterdam is Rhinebeck's newest restaurant, serving modern farm-to-table fare by Chef Alex Burger, inside a restored Dutch townhouse. "The establishment fits seamlessly into the Hudson Valley food scene, honoring the foods, ingredients, and traditions
We worked with The Amsterdam on a bridal luncheon and can't say enough good things about our experience, working with their staff, and the meal. They were so wonderful to work with in the planning process, especially with some special requests and details I wanted executed. On the day of the event we had a beautiful time out in the back garden, the space is just so relaxing! And the food was a highlight of our whole stay in Rhinebeck. I am going to be dreaming about the meal for weeks -- grilled plums and burrata and the elote gnocchi were our group's favorites. I can't recommend them enough -- you must try this place!

Welcome to our restaurant with its Colonial Tap Room featuring overhead beams, open hearth fireplace, and a charming bar. Our restaurant serves lunch and dinner seven days a week year round and Brunch on Sundays. Dining is in several separate dining rooms
We stopped here for lunch and dinner the next evening. The setting is so inviting and quite enjoyable as service, ambiance and food were outstanding. We had dinner in a room adjuacent to the old tavern, but I would definitely dine in the dimly lit tavern-it exuded character and charm. The food selection was ample and prices and value reasonable.

This is such a great place. Incredibly well run (by Luciano), attentive and professional staff (who seem to love what they do) and wonderful fresh and ever changing seasonal offerings. Itâs great for dinner with friends, overseas visitors, and/or GF family members! Weekend brunch is also terrific with awesome eggs Benedict and wood Fire pizzas. Some of our staple orders here include the fried calamari with herb aioli (so more-ish), any of their daily fish specials, the insanely flavorful beef rigatoni and their steak with delicious fries. Perhaps our favorite thing here though is the list of daily specials that sit on top of the regular menu as itâs here that you find the most creative, seasonal options including things like soft shell crab, gazpacho with melon, roasted beans with burrata, wild bass with roasted fennel and artichoke purée. The list goes on...and weâll keep coming! Lastly they also make very good cocktails!

We are passionately committed to providing our guests with a delightfully unique dining experience. As a Hudson Valley dining destination, we strive to consistently provide you with the freshest, highest quality food; celebrating the robust local bounty.
We ate early so it was pretty quiet but as we left it was getting noisy. The high ceilings in this beautiful room probably contribute to that. We each had soup (one mushroom, one gaspacho) and they were delicious. The endive salad had too much dressing on it for my taste. But the quesadillas were unique and flavorful. I would definitely go back. Service was excellent.

A friend of mine told me about this popular spot in Rhinebeck.I had tried their place in Lake Katrina outside of Kingston. Quiet and good food and clientele there! This place is different and not in a good way.On a recent trip with a friend we ordered a muffin and coffee -both excellent as well as the quiche and salad.- also good !Some time later an older woman arrives and decides to sit next to us and wants us to move - although we have a service dog. There were other seats she could have gone to and she was not ill or crippled- she just decided she would call the shots! We left the shop but maybe they need to have separate seating for grouchy seniors or better yet. Let them stay At home and yell at their relatives . Anyone with some IQ knows that communal tables mean just that! The restaurant caters in general to an educated , nice crowd but unfortunately there are always bad apples in every bunch!

Soulful and Elegant cooking with a nod toward Gaelic Gastronomy. True and welcoming hospitality. Refined cocktails, wines and ale. Serving Dinner Thursday to Monday.
Bia is an absolutely perfect experience combining exceptional food with an elegant but unassuming atmosphere with friendly caring and professional staff. In other words - Manhattan culinary excellence without the Manhattan attitude or crowds. Last night we tried the roasted Monkfish which was cooked to perfection accompanied by two fried oysters. My other half had the duck which was tender and delicious. On past visits I sampled the salmon on potato boxty (Irish pancakes) which was popping with freshness, the venison carpaccio was tender and delightful and the lobster, black pudding and braised pork belly which upped the ante on what avant garde Irish chefs are attempting. Honestly the whole thing comes together as though it was effortless from the scrumptious dishes, the cool vibe and the perfect drinks. Welcome to Rhinebeck Bia. So happy to have you in our town!
