Things to do in Quartzsite
This one is inside a PILOT gas station in Quartzsite Arizona and I hope to plan my trip differently next time so I can stop somewhere other than Quartzsite to eat. It seemed to be the healthiest choice in the vicinity but after eating there I'm not so sure. I was almost sickened by the smell of the tomatoes and the food handlers and cleanliness of the area left something to be desired. My recommendation....drive a little further or suck it up and eat at McD's next door!
I was shopping next door (thrift store) and got hungry. So I looked over the menu and picked the BLT. I'm not sure just where they get such great bacon but it was tasty and cooked perfectly with fresh lettuce and tomato. There are a couple of outside tables for seating, or you can take out too. I can't wait to go back!

Wow. what a great find. A group of us were in Quartzsite for RV week and I just happened to spot this place. After making my husband make two lefts, cut in front of people, etc. we entered the driveway. From the moment we got close we could smell the aroma of the Bar B Que. The first time I ate there we sat out on the patio which was delightful. My husband and I shared the Pulled Pork and Tri Tip plate. It came with coleslaw and beans. The tri tip was delicious....you did not even need a knife to cut it as it was so tender. The next day I took my girlfriends to dine after a heavy morning of shopping at the TENT and Tyson Wells. This time I had the ribs. They are "to die for' Please make this a stop if you are ever passing thru or staying in Quartzsite. It is right off of the freeway. You will not regret it. There were a lot of "out of towners" like ourselves but just as many locals. So if the the locals eat there, you know it is good. A special thank you to Sandy who was so gracious to us.
We were at the RV show and heard the VFW was open open to the public for dinner during the show. As a way to show support to our support we went there for a meal. There was only one choice, meatloaf and it was excellent. The facility and everyone in it was wonderful. Thanks to our vets and all they have given to our country.

Hearty, home style cooking. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff. Eat at family style tables, Good food and great homemade pies & cinnamon & pecan rolls. Sweet Darlenes Gift and Collectables shop.
Not sure where the large room for eating was? We stopped hoping for breakfast but had to settle for bakery goodies, which were delicious, but they were not inexpensive.
This wasn't our 1st choice but very glad we couldn't get into the 1st place we picked. This place had great service and the food was fresh and hot. Next time in Quartzsite will be going back there.

Weâve stopped here several times during Fall and Winter months for breakfast on our way to Prescott. The restaurant is closed during the HOT summer months. Itâs conveniently located off the 10 fwy in Quartzsite, AZ. The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms are clean, and not gender neutral. The servers are friendly and the service is fast. The breakfasts are American hearty.Plenty of parking. Easy in and out.

Weâve been patrons of the Yacht Club during the winter for years. Always reliable food, a good glass of wine, and tons of fun. The funâs still there, but the food now seems to be coming out of a box of frozen something-or-other, and the Merlot isnât drinkable. Sadly, this is going to cost them in the long run! People wonât go back if they canât get a decent meal. Itâs not just us - our group all feels the same way (and itâs a pretty large group!).Also, the Yacht Club members used to get a half price night once a week. Even thatâs been knocked down to 20%. Granted, itâs still a discount, but....Hopefully the new manager will check on her reviews & make the change back.

We finally let friends take us to Silly Al's for "best pizza". My husband ordered the lasagna which was good but the dish was only a half serving. Certainly not baked but just melted. I got a Hawaiian pizza with basically no sauce, salty deli ham very thin crust.I found it nothing but salty gobs of cheese. Service was pretty good. Cost for the pizza and lasagna. Def too much for what we got. Will not return.
