The Marina offers fresh seafood, steaks, burgers, salads, a wide variety of vegetarian options, a kid's menu, homemade desserts, a full bar (with a great selection of local beer), beautiful waterside dining, amazing sunsets... And much more!
We had eaten here before and decided to go back. The restaurant is huge with with two levels and several patios and decks. It was cool enough to eat inside on this visit. Located on the West River the view was breathtaking and we hit it at sunset. The food is excellent! I opted for a BLT which was made with high quality apple bacon, fresh tomatoes and lettuce on a multigrain bread. Gourmet by standards. Our server was great, pleasant, helpful and patient. The menu is huge and comprehensive. You'd be hard pressed not to find something to eat. The prices are more than reasonable. The one negative was the host, an older gentleman. We waited an unusually long time just to be acknowledged. Being in the restaurant business for nearly forty years that first impression is paramount. Look forward to more visits.

Our Fun and bright little cafe serves from scratch dishes, a full espresso bar, soups, salads, sandwiches and more!
Swift, accurate service and imaginative use of excellent ingredients made lunch a treat. My Chicken Salad wrap with grapes and cranberries packed a punch of flavour and portions are generous. We will be back in morning to see what breakfast delights await.

As guests of the Four Columns Inn you would expect excellent service right? This restaurant was so disappointing. Nothing is more upsetting than seeing guests that arrive well after you being served before you. Interminable wait for entree to arrive simply not acceptable. And an entree that is lukewarm is the ultimate insult to a discerning diner. Not worth it regardless of the quality if it canât be served in a timely manner.Dear Forrest - you have our sincere apologies for a disappointing meal experience with us. Columbus weekend and the days surrounding it are the busiest time of the year for us and we, of course, try our best to keep things moving along in a timely manner. We will say though that it is not always fair to judge timing based on the table next to you as there are so many variables in terms of what items they ordered vs items you ordered and cooking temperatures etc. etc. that it is hard to comment directly on that fact. we apologize once again and hope that if you are travelling this way again we hope you will give us a second chance to provide you with a better experience.

Peter Havens provides an elegant but relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy chef/owner Zach Corbin's accomplished cuisine. The menu has French and Italian influences (always house-made pasta and gnocchi!) But always has Zach's own culinary flare. Locals and
Hard to decide between appetizers--- so I had 3! The cream was a nice touch to the escargots--- made the garlicky flavor even more rich. Duck Liver Pate was amazing, and my ride-eye was cooked to perfection. The Blue Cheese herb butter was the perfect finish to the steak... sadly, no room for dessert, but will come back for the Callebaut Choc Mousse & Tiramisu, Creme Brûlée---- maybe I'll just come for a dessert meal!

The dining room had excellent food and service. We also love the charming decor. The food was a bit more gourmet than my taste, but I was able to do some substitutions and was very happy.

After reading the reviews, I wanted to try this place. I am very happy that I did. I really enjoyed my food. I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich with stuffing, Vermont cheese, and cranberry sauce. It came with delicious fresh cut french fries and cole slaw. I also had a home made pink lemonade. All of their baked goods are home made and they look ed delicious. I love the diner environment. The booths are wooden. I will be back for sure.

JD McCliment's Pub is as unique as the small town it is a part of. We strive for a relaxed, family friendly, atmosphere with a creative menu that incorporates locally grown produce. In the winter you can get a cozy table by our wood stove, and for those b
We always enjoy coming here and bumping into many people we know. It's a great, friendly, hometown atmosphere and there's a very nice outside deck for summertime dining. This busy Thursday featured their special Mexican Menu (in addition to their regular menu) that has enchilada, taco, and burrito entrees plus some sides/appetizers. We both had the enchiladas which were delicious and a nice portion (not too much, not too little). It was crowded inside this evening due to the rain outside but it was still no issue to get a table. There's plenty of free parking. We will definitely return!Sorry I didn't respond sooner, Trip Advisor used to notify me when I got a review. Thanks for taking the time to write this review. It really let's people know so much more that will allow them to get a clear picture of what to expect!

Great spot in quaint town with sophisticated style and tastes.Visiting Putney and had a wonderful dinner with a friend. Staff was accommodating, friendly, and knew how to pace the evening so our conversation was not rushed.Food was excellent and ample portions. Quality of food was evident and tastes were savory. Good selection of wines and live music created a terrific atmosphere by the fire.

Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with e
I think they have new management, because we have been here several times before and the food is definitely not as good and the service is poor. It took so long to get our appetizers and our meals.
