Ruth's Chris Steak House specializes in serving aged USDA Prime steaks, broiled in a trademark 1800-degree oven and served on a plate heated to 500 degrees to ensure the steak stays "sizzling" hot. To experience fine dining at its best ⦠Just follow the s
After having enjoyed dinners at many Ruthâs Chris restaurants across the country....this was disappointing. It was a group dinner in a private room. Service was average at best....ended up getting the bottles and pouring our own wines as the staff was inattentive.....ordered a rare filet that came med well....a few of us had that issue with the steaks. Was going to bring it up to the staff, but they took forever to return. A very disappointing night......We truly appreciate your feedback because it helps us improve. METRO NORTH RESTAURANT PRINCETON378 ALEXANDER ROAD PRINCETON NJJUST A TAD OUTSIDE OF "IN-TOWNâ PRINCETONBack for yet-another round at Metro North Restaurant just a tad outside of âIn-Townâ Princeton. Still not a bad choice if you want to avoid the âin-townâ congestion and relax in an informal, comfortable, atmosphere; ⦠and, you wish to just, simply, enjoy a place filled with a cheerful, jubilant, crowd, out to enjoy a lively evening. Bring your revel-attitude and join the lively jovial, merry, jolly, environment that is far from subdued. For the price, you do get a reasonably decent portion of whichever choice you pick from a relatively wide tasty menu selection, along with a quite-honorable list of nice, different beers to choose from in many different taste categories. Fun, merriment, lively, decent meal from a decent menu selection; decent-tasting food in a proportionate price range â¦. Cannot go wrong if you are in that area and, again, choose to bypass the âin-townâ hassle. Those are some of the reasons why we choose to return to Metro North on Alexander Road whenever we find ourselves in this area.

Took my daughter and her boyfriend out to dinner. We were greeted well and shown to our table immediately; had made a reservation a few days ahead. The restuarant wasn't crowded and service was good. We all had the coffee encrusted steak at my daughter's suggestion. She had it during a previous visit and raved. Well turned out the steak was worth the price; enjoyed it tremendously. Atmosphere is fine if you have good company, otherwise a bit boring. But may have live music on the weekend, not sure. They do have a lovely double fireplace which can be utilized from the outside front area; nice for a few friends to gather in the fall for tapas or drinks.

We think food is a universal language -- it brings us together and nourishes us. In Latin, "Agricola" means "farmer," which embodies our farm to table spirit and our dedication to community and comfort. There is nothing we enjoy more than gathering old fr
Agricola is a farm. To table venue with a very nice atmosphere whether you sit in the bar, open kitchen or one of the more private rooms. Excellent bar, friendly, knowledgeable service and a well curated menu. I enjoyed the pork chop with a tasty, Asian hinted sauce. My wife had a halibut that was slightly over cooked and needed. More. Seasoning but came with a nice accompaniment and was not bad. The stars were our appetizers, a mushroom flatbread and a Spanish octapus with Chorizo. Berry crumble dessert was excellent- price and value not bad, especially considering the location. We would definitely return

One point of aggression that I found very frustrating is that we intentionally met at 5 PM to enjoy their reasonably priced happy hour and still we treating 9 guests to dinner with our table reservationâso they knew they would make their money from us. But the waiter refused to serve us the Happy Hour drink specials at our table and said it was for bar service only. We said okayâweâll order our 3 drinks at the bar but want to bring them to the table since we are hosting six guests and want to be at our table when they arrive. The waiter said that would not be allowed. If the drink is ordered at the bar it must be consumed at the bar, not taken to a dining table. So then he proceeded to talk my colleagues into expensive glasses of wine from the non-Happy Hour menu. In a spirit of priests, I waited until Happy Hour was over before ordering my full price wine. UGH!The food was okay. The tuna avocado martini smelled fishy and a few of our guests tried a bite but that appetizer went pretty much uneaten. The bread was a decent sourdough, but when the basket ran out no one refilled it. That said, my entree of beef short ribs was fantastic! Heavy with the mashed potatoes, but really tender, not fatty, and super flavorful. So a 2 for service and a 4 for foodâquality varied by what people ordered.

I was excited to go here after reading the reviews. Less excited by far after my breakfast wrap number one. The egg white wrap was healthy...just tasteless. Well...did taste of salt. Should have gone two doors down....would not recommend. Husband enjoyed his huge carrot muffin.

Fresh & simply prepared seafood served in a casual atmosphere with a gorgeous patio for warm weather dining.
Dined at this quaint Princeton sea food restaurant with some international colleagues on a Tuesday evening. The sidewalk tables were full so we dined indoors. Food selection of fresh fish was fantastic, as was the service. Many fresh fish were caught literally that day or the day before. They also own the sea food store next to the restaurant. Everything was great as far as the food (** This is a BYOB restaurant) but beware of the indoor seating when this place is packed. It is VERY LOUD to the point that we could not have a conversation across the table. It spoiled our dinner which otherwise was amazing. Please, Please install noise dampers on the walls or ceiling.
