It's time the world learns of Cindy's Family Restaurant! A good, old fashioned, no frills, no hype, local restaurant that has good simple food, great friendly service, and excellent prices. I was just there for Sunday lunch after hearing good things about it by word of mouth, and had a good Country Fried Steak dinner, which came with soup and salad bar (Sunday only?) for $6.95! Yeah, $6.95! Next time, I'm gonna have the 4 pc chicken dinner. I saw many people eating it, and it looked delicious! Many of the customers appeared to be good old, "salt of the earth", rural Hoosier folks! Go!!!!!!!!!!
In case you have not been to a Jimmy John's, please go! The sandwiches are sooo much better than Subway. The ingredients are better, the bread is better, and the chips and cookies are better. Granted, Jimmy John's is a little pricer, but it is definitely worth it. This location is great. Clean, fast, and friendly.

This restaurant was vintage Bob Evans, and was very busy for lunch. There were some quiet spaces, although the restaurant overall was smaller than most we've visited. The service was fantastic, and the food was overall good. The salads got rave reviews. The vegetable soup was something of a disappointment, and usually the chicken noodle soup is a sure bet! The pot roast is always good. They do offer different kinds of bread including biscuits and rolls as well as banana bread, so be sure to ask. The restaurant is handicapped friendly, and there is parking on all sides of it.

We arrived on a Friday evening and because of very limited seating we took a table in the bar. Hubby ordered his favorite, the Bourbon Street Chicken, and I ordered the Fried Shrimp. Drinks arrived quickly, and soon after our food arrived. Hubby had to ask twice for his roll, and the shrimp that came with his chicken was lukewarm at best. The chicken was so tough that he requested a steak knife that never arrived, although our waitress could take the time to converse with friends seated at the bar. My shrimp was over fried, the slaw consisted of mainly warm dressing, and when I came home I was pretty sick for the rest of the evening. I will spare you the details but let's just say this was the worst food we have eaten at any Applebee's. Luckily we were traveling through and won't have to eat here again.

We tried their pizza which was very good. Mancino's is a chain and is mostly a take out place. They do not serve beer or wine at this location and pizza is not best with soda pop. We prefer the thick crust but their pizza is medium to thin crust. However, the toppings were good and we had half a pizza to take home. I actually enjoyed the leftover more with a beer and to me, the flavor seemed even better.

The food is outstanding and the views of the golf course only adds to the dining experience. On the pricey side for cocktails or wine but so worth a night out with great food and atmosphere. Check out their deals they run sometimes. One of my favorites in the area.

Wednesday is Senior night. Buffet is discounted greatly with drink and dessert. Clean and we'll managed. Service is great and the servers are professional and pleasant. Steaks are tender. Buffet has different things on different nights. Salads has most things available. If you like your salad a certain way, you can have it. Hot food area has fish, chicken, veggies, and more. The desserts are seemingly homemade and delicious.Thank you for the review. We look forward to serving you again soon.

Stopped by with friends to visit newly remodeled Brass Rail. Place looks great and what a change, very good change. Place was packed with large groups and small. First waitress for cocktails a tad unfriendly and slow. Seated for dinner very nice waitress who was delightful! Menu seemed the same but a nice dinner.

Stopped for early lunch. Our meals consisted of cabbage soup, hot roast beef with homemade mash potatoes, taco salad served in a homemade shell and pancakes. Also on Wednesday's the cream pies are 1/2 price. Had chocolate peanut butter and lemon meriguine. Everything was very good. Served hot. Portions are large. Service is excellent, The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Would recommend if you are hungry and want to eat something delicious and not break the bank.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to the Elkhart area. Nice little deli that makes sandwiches and hot dogs. My hot dog was great; can't remember the name of it but it had peppers on it. Hubby had a reuben. Definitely worth the stop.
