Exhilarate your senses with an upscale dining experience by Tom Schaudel. Be-Ju Sashimi & Sake Bar is located inside Jewel Restaurant. Jewel's Cuisine: American Eclectic, Market-to-Table, American Brasserie. Be-Ju Sashimi & Sake Bar is dedicated to sushi
Prix fix menu ($59.95) for Motherâs Day; no other choices. Overall food was good; be prepared for small portions. The service was average; i.e. no refill on coffee. For the price of the meal, a cup of coffee/tea could have been included with dessert. Will most likely not go back as the food/service/etc. were not worth the price.

This place has a fun concept of sandwich building - choose your bread, meat and the toppings in groups. Very tasty. I had a 6" roll, chile brown sugar brisket, mushroom topping (caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, provolone cheese, mayo). Mine had too much mayo, but still good. Fun and affordable.

Coliseum used to be a good place for a meal. They have gone downhill. The counter staff was inattentive, the cashier was rude, and the cooks put out inedible food. My wife and I had the Philly Cheesesteak specials (neither of the counter staff were aware of the special). Both of our sandwiches had inedible pieces of meat. When my wife sent hers back, they were not sympathetic. It is no wonder theyâve cut their hours, people must be receiving the same outcome we experienced.

Let me start off with this warning. If you are not into sports please don't eat there.. there are over 30 large tv's around the restaurant. During certain sports events the restaurant gets mobbed and noisy. But that is the fun of going there. The food is a fast type of meal but the menu is very large. Prices are very good and they always have a number of specials. I live the wings and potato skins. Drinks have free refills and the staff is very attentive. Nobody is rushed and nobody is bothered if you stay longer than usual to eat and watch a sporting event. Parking is easy. There are at least two main event restaurants in Nassau county.

We were 8 people who ordered a variety of fixed price meals. Those who ordered meat, chicken and salmon were satisfied and gave their meal a 7 or 8 out of ten. The ones who ordered the shrimp and fish filet gave their dishes a 5 out of 10. Everyone liked the soup of the day, shrimp bisque, and the salads were just OK. The desserts were the best of all. The service was fine and accommodating and Kathy, from Williamsburg Brooklyn was a great server. The bill included a 20% service charge on top of a hearty local tax. If I ever come again I plan to order the sirloin meat which was the big winner of the night.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate your feedback. We hope to see you again soon.

Went for a dinner with kids and another family. Variety of menu items (menu is on an iPad). The "dirty" seasoning was good. Would go back.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back to DC area. You get that great, real diner vibe right in the parking lot. Vintage building style, vintage decor. Big glass cases of pastries and cookies at the front entrance. Wait staff is friendly, a little cheeky, and very fun. Food is good, basic cooking. A surprise was the small glass of juice (you choose flavor) included with the breakfast selections. Another nice surprise was a plate of small muffins with butter offered gratis. Think this is a Saturday special. I had a poached egg with bacon and english muffin. Hubby had the western omelet with sausage. This comes with a pile of home fries and toast. You can tell this place is popular with locals. There's a relaxed easy feel to it. We enjoyed our hot breakfasts very much. Since we were from out of town, I asked Siri for the nearest McDonalds, figuring there would be one nearby. On our way to McDonalds, we saw this diner and detoured. Nothing against McDonalds, but glad we did! We would stop in here again.

Had a good meal here with friends. Brisket special was done perfectly, but I would have enjoyed some bbq sauce on the side. The burgers were all great according to my dining companions. One had a special order zucchini linguini with parmesan meatballs. Salads were also quite good with house dressing. Difficult for conversation as the place got more crowded as tables are quite close. Also a bit more pricey than I thought for this type of establishment. There is limited parking directly in front of the restaurant, but a nearby shopping center offers ample parking. Service a bit slow with the full house of the evening.

First and foremost (if you have a short attention span): as a summary: this is a good place, good food, good variety, and open 24 hours and kosher- so go!! It's busy and raucous and crowded and noisy on a Sunday morning.Basically, the food is good and therefore, I recommend that you go: especially if you like kosher Jewish food. The breadth and display of the various food for purchase is quite extensive and numbing and somewhat confusing to me: where to order, where to collect the food, where and how to pay, do I pick it up from you or do you bring it to my table smushed in the back there? They have multicolored green and blue and orange and yellow bagels (see my photo)- what could be healthier than that? Isn't is said that eating a variety of colors of vegetables is healthy? Thee is at least one or two food counters and then the bakery separate section and then stuff on counters or corners all over the place. The bakery stuff looks incredibly rich: both in price and in calories. One can grab a table in the narrow congested space in the back, where one can squeeze in and then be distracted by watching the various news blather programs on the big and loud video screen: otherwise, you will need to stare into space, or worse relate to and speak to the person that is with you.It is worthwhile and recommended to go- it's better and more varied and better quality than similar places that I've visited in other locations, and what can be better: it's open 24 hours!! That's the best..
