We went there for breakfast in July after a family reunion. Great breakfast. Look at the pictures. Service was OK. Seemed like a group of young kids with very little assertive leadership. Not many hustling to get tables cleaned, seated and served. 1-5, it was a 2.5, nice but could have worked harder. Food was a 4.5. I recommend this place above any other in the area.
We are a take-out oriented restaurant location. Our location is perfect for people on the go or on a budget. We offer fresh made to order breakfast and lunch. However, if you prefer to stay on the premises and eat, we offer a warming hut for you to sit do
The warming sheds at treats and treasures is a Hidden Gem. It is a comfortable casual dining area and his part of treats and treasures gift shop. During the summer and fall seasons it acts as a place to eat some of their delicious breakfast and lunch choices. For the winter sports and visitors it is a comfy place to warm up and grab a nice hot bite while you are on your ATVs or snowmobiles. Highly recommended.

We stopped for appetizers and disciplined a gem. The BEST fried pickles I have ever had. The french fries, chicken wings and mozzarella sticks were good. If you want more substantial fare, this is the place!

9/17-9/20/2018, breakfasts, only one server each day. We had originally set up breakfasts at the Lodge we were staying at, but due to wait staff shortages, they were only serving breakfasts on Sat and Sun, so we looked for a breakfast place and believe it or not, there weren't many available - only two, "Gramps" and "Happy Corner Cafe" and since Gramps was closed on the Monday we were there, it was The Happy Cafe. About a dozen tables that seat 4 per, a bar and two gas fireplaces down on 1st floor. Clean rest rooms and seat yourself. Service the first day was a tad slow, but then again, you don't go to Pittsburg New Hampshire for the fast paced lifestyle. Menu is voluminous - and breakfasts all four days were excellent. I HIGHLY recommend their homemade english muffins, locally made maple syrup and probably the BEST homemade blueberry muffins i've ever had. Server wanders around from table to table pouring coffee or water or whatever and kibitzing with everyone...very friendly place to start your day. Plan on an hour from start to finish - it goes by fast. Dinner was not offered while we were there as they too had a waitstaff shortage which caused them to close after lunch was finished. Breakfast started at 7AM and switched to Lunch at 11AM. Total for the four of us olde farts was around $30.00 which I consider to be cheap eats based on the amount of food served.

My husband had a large Salad with Grilled Chicken, our friends had the Deep Fried Scallops and Fried Fish. All our meals were Very good. Waitress was pleasant but very busy. Nice menu selections, lots of seating. Friendly crowd.Well worth the stop if your hungry in the North Country. They also have hotel roomsif your looking for a reasonable priced place to stay.

Itâs been about 10 years since we last visited the Rainbow grille. Last time we had three kids and no dogs. This time it was with our Airstream and two dogs- who remained in the car. The restaurant was every bit as good as the last time. We both had excellent Caesar salads with very fresh romaine, excellent Parmesan shaved in big pieces and homemade dressing. I had seared tuna which was perfectly cooked and very rare and fresh and M had bison tips in a mushroom sauce -also cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was excellent and food was very reasonably priced. Hard to go wrong at RainbowGrille.

Murphy's Steakhouse in Pittsburg, NH is fine dining in a casual, comfortable and rustic setting. Rustic appeal, cozy fireplace, wonderful views of 1st Connecticut Lake and fantastic food all make a very memorable experience. During the summer/fall months
I have been to Pittsburg a few times snowmobiling and not only do I love staying here but I also enjoy dinner at Murphy's.LODGING: The lodging is second to none, it's clean, cozy, and the staff are only there to add to your experience. It has direct access to the main trails, plenty of room for parking and the best feature in my opinion is the quite atmosphere in this quaint inn. They also do not require a multi night reservation so if you're looking for a quick trip up to Pittsburg and don't want to commit to a lengthy stay this is the place for you. It has beautiful views of 1st Connecticut Lake which is across the street along with the famous Treats & Treasures store. The rate is also wallet friendly,DINING: There isn't a better dining option in town. I am a "foodie" and you won't find a better meal around. From soup to nuts the food and ambiance is spectacular. Make your reservations early because they fill up quick. The best part is when I am done eating, I climb the staircase to the bedroom and retire for the night. I'm hesitant to leave such a great review because I don't want to lose my favorite destination but they deserve it. I have no doubt that anyone reading this will enjoy the same experiences that I have come to appreciate.
