I thoroughly enjoy this spot for a leisurely dinner. My favorite is the quesadilla, Hawaiian bbq. Substitute sweet potatoes for salad. Lava cake is fantastic. Sit at the bar for an informal feel. The servers are always friendly. I've never gone for takeout; they offer that too.

Country breakfast at it's finest. Sausage gravy made from scratch... need I say more? It was great, we ate there twice in the weekend with no complaints. Omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy... everything was outstanding. The locals all seemed to eat here, and that tells you something. They didn't use menus and the wait staff knew them by name. It was great!

Stopped with family to have dinner. Service was good. Items tried was the veggie beef soup. It was good, but on the saltier side, should try to cut back on the salt. It had lots of ingredients. Also tried the hot roast beef sandwich. It was good, but could have used some more roast beef for the money charged. It had plenty of mashed potatoes, gravy and sliced bread. Overall a better experience than the last one. It can be hit or miss.

Outstanding service, average prices, we had broiled trout special and pork loin. Trout cooked just right with crispy fries and sweet, finely chopped cole slaw. Pork loin was very good. I would summarize by saying these are meals you would get from your Mom - just good home cooking.
