Found this restaurant on trip advisor and so glad we visited! The scallops, baked potato and asparagus were all delicious. My son enjoyed his fish ân chips, and my husband loved his seafood nachos. Service was excellent! We will definitely return before our trip is over.

My hubby and I came here for an early dinner/ late lunch. It's easy to find a good table around 3 or 4 because they don't transition to dinner until 5. That's when the crowd comes. The lunch menu has a wonderful variety of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, soups, salads and paninis. I chose a chicken cordon bleu panini and pasta salad. Portions were great and the meal was delicious. My husband and I split a huge slice of cheesecake drizzled with caramel after finishing our meal. I highly recommend this place for people of all ages until 6, after the crowd should be more mature as it turns more into a bar after.

Having heard about the restaurant from friends, I wanted to try the fare. I had sliced pork with two sides. The meat was juicy and was cooked perfectly well. I also tried a slice of fresh baked apple pie that was heavenly! It is worth trying if you havenât done so yet.

Most of my co-workers love this place. In my opinion- Itâs not bad going down but have a bottle of tums and mouthwash for the acid reflux and horrible lard/pig fat aftertaste. Itâs an all you can eat pulled pork, fried chicken, cabbage, corn, green beans, & hush puppies (all taste like they were fried or cooked in pig fat), salad, mashed potatoes, beef patties Iâm very dark brown gravy. They had 2 soups that I didnât try. The desert bar had canned peaches that didnât look or taste very fresh, apple cobbler with very few apples, they were out of banana pudding so I didnât try that. After lunch, I burped for at least 36 hours with Tums. The sweet tea was the best. Payment is charged upon entering the door. Tips can be left when you pay before you eat or at the table after youâre served and done with your meal.

Read the great reviews about this place on here and had to see for myself. Not disappointed one bit! The pulled pork was so tender and good and the sauce was amazing. Let me say the Saucyâs slaw was the best slaw Iâve ever had on a bbq sandwich. The cilantro in it gave it the best flavor. The potato salad was equally delicious. I wish our trip was longer so we could come back for more!

Visited with friends and had great time. Menu selections varied enough that one wonât have a problem finding something to please. The Shepherds Pie is delicious. Very good beer selection on tap. Service is efficient, pleasant, and helpful. Great English Pub atmosphere. Pricing about what one would expect, moderate. Worth a try when in or near Petersbugh.

Very friendly and cozy small town feel to this restaurant in the heart of downtown...youngest daughter even gave it high marks! My other daughter said the homemade peanut butter pie was delicious, and the barbeque pork sandwich with slaw was a hit with me. Definitely would return!
