Edge by Chef Dustin Allen is a farm to table fine dining restaurant. We fully support buying locally and that is why 90% of our menu comes from within 75 miles of us. We take the bounty of what the earth has to offer and make something extraordinary!
I don't know what went wrong. We dined with another couple, 4 different dishes and no one was happy. We actually all had to salt our dishes and none of use are salters. Service was fine but for the price the food was marginal at best. I reviewed this restaurant when they where in a different location and gave them 5 stars. Maybe off night who knows.

Family-owned restaurant serving artisanal barbecue. Large selection of craft beer and whisky. NO RESERVATIONS. NOT SUITABLE FOR LARGE GROUPS. CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
What really impresses me about this restaurant is that the food is consistently good the service is consistently good for years and they give employees off Monday and Tuesday. No it doesnât have a wide ranging menu but what it has is good and I like it because you donât have to get huge meals my wife and I are both small eaters so she gets the Asian tacos and I get the small order of chicken wings with a side of potato salad total bill $21 and change highly recommend

Eclectic, locally owned restaurant, featuring a unique menu with options for vegans to carnivores.
Second time here. Yummy burgers. Good food. Hot spot for sure. Good menu with vegetarian and vegan items. Enjoyed the hummus platter.

lively friendly place with both neat inside seating, and open air (with smoking) outside area.Bit of a locals place but the food and good service makes it a destination of its own. The staff carry the day with their good nature, friendly, and professional work. Beer selection on draft is poor. Essentially bud, bud light, miller lite, and amber bock. Bit sad given the trend toward more draft local beer. Food is decent ... lots of options. I did the fried tenderloin and must say it wasn't so good ..too thin, no real flavor, and so huge you really only needed to eat 1/4. Not the best tenderloin in town. Prices fair.

We had dinner at the fish house in Peoria, Il. The meal were outstanding my wife had prawns , potatoes au grated potatoes and fried zucchini. I had char grilled Australian king salmon, baked potato and fried zucchini. We shared a dessert of dark chocolate and raspberry cheese cake. I highly recommend this restaurant for good food and service. The waiter we had named Jeff was outstanding he answered any questions about the entrees we were going to order.

If you like fried chicken or catfish, this is the best Sunday dinner offered in Peoria. The chicken is lightly coated and served with mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, and salad. They also serve amazing steaks and sandwiches. The Blue Burger is also a favorite. Because it is a small and intimate venue, you must make reservations. Outdoor seating is available as are carryout. We are becoming regulars...always on Sundays.

I don't go here often but when I do it's always superb. Friendly staff, real downhome cooked food, not precooked or processed. One of my favorites is the skillet breakfast, with wonderful sausage links cut up, real fried potatoes and good eggs. The coffee is also good. They do a steady business and there's a reason why. They aren't open past 2pm so they concentrate on good breakfast food. The way the menu is printed out makes it a little difficult to go through but that doesn't affect the food. Highly recommended.

The Tuesday special offers the Build Your Burger. Choices include a single or double burger and include a wide variety of cheeses and sauces. It is served on a regular or pretzel bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. Sides include the super delicious blue cheese bacon fries, mac n cheese, or regular fries...all at a nominal cost. The bar offers a wide variety of beers and cocktails. This is a cozy somewhat Irish bar and is a popular hangout especially on Tuesdays. The burgers are half the price on Tuesdays vs other nights...we might become regulars. One single and one double with an order of the blue cheese bacon fries and a Budweiser came to $19...and worth every penny. We'll be back...and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

We planned a couples trip to Peoria and decided to try Alexander's Steakhouse....what a mistake. Our waitress was very forgetful, we didn't get our drinks until we had been there 20+ minutes. She forgot the grilled onions, and the steak fries. The calamari was awful, rubbery, over breaded and the breading tasted like it had gone bad....such a disappointment. My main complaint though is if your restaurant's main claim is you can cook your own steaks or pay $2 to have the chef cook them yout should maybe disclose that to your customers upfront instead of hiding that in small print at the bottom of the menu. We will not be back and we will make sure to tell friends to avoid this place! Very sad we wasted our time and money going here.

A touch of the South. Smoked meats on lunch menu, fine dining at night. Local farms sourced first. Hand crafted cocktails, over 200 whiskies from around the world and an extensive wine list.
Recently stopped in for lunch with my wife. Was disappointed that they no longer have the Muffaletta. It however is still on the menu. I then settled for the Hearth grilled cheese. It was very good. My wife ordered the pulled pork and said it was decent. Overall it was good. Not sure how soon I will return with all the choices in the Heights.
