A cozy restaurant at the Lalla Rookhweg 8 in Paramaribo South. At Tasty you can go for something more than just a meal or a drink. At Tasty you can get coffee (in all shapes, sizes and flavors), smoothies, fresh juices, hot plates, lunch and full breakfas
Went with a friend for dinner at Tasty Sandwich and Coffee bar. They only used to serve breakfast and lunch, but recently started to serve dinner as well. The restaurant has a unique Mediterranean vibe to it and we really liked how serene everything looked. They have very friendly and informative personnel. My friend and I respectively ordered the Louisiana chicken pasta and the Shrimp and Parmesan Sirloin. I ordered my steak well done and it was indeed, juicy and well done topped with shrimp on a bed of parmesan sauce, however, I didn't really taste the richness of the parmesan as much. It was delicious nonetheless. My friend could not finish her pasta because she had so much chicken on her plate, but she also found her food very delicious and worth the money. We had ice tea on the side, and the Morrocan mint tea was my favorite, a must order.

Tori oso is not only known as one of the best bar / restaurants in towsn but we our also known for our famous slogan "freedom of speech" so come and enjoy amazing food while socializing with locals and our friendly staff
We had the shrimp salad, cheesy fries and a cheesy burger. They were all good. My favorite was the cheesy fries with turkey bacon. It's worth a try. I did expect it to be cheesier. The service was good. Nice server. The only thing to change might be the menu. It has no prices on it. So the waiter what the prices are per item. It was time consuming.

Of all the places in Suriname, we frequented this place most regularly over the past two years, mostly because the food was consistently good, and because the service was reasonable. I don't mean that in a backhand way, but in Suriname it was quite normal to pay a high price for good food at other high end restaurants and get spotty service, at best; meals coming out at different times and one hot and one cold, salads forgotten or coming at the end, no one asking you if you'd like another beer, etc. In addition to the good service, we also liked the ambience and the breeze off of the river made it possible to sit outside during many months.
