I have shared reviews of restaurants from many cities and other countries but have not given one for those close to where I live, so I've decided to give one now. The Nugget Restaurant is like "being home".. Nothing fancy, just good food, with generous proportions and very reasonable pricing. We have gone there countless times over the 8 years we have lived in the area and have never had slow or bad service. It is rare that my coffee cup is half way empty before it is refilled by one of the cheerful staff. The menu is large with selections for almost any taste or desire. Several ethnic food dishes are available and their Friday fish fry is outstanding. I personally get a craving for their Parmesan Chicken which is often highlighted on their daily menu. The first bite usually has me saying "wow" as the flavor just seems to really please the palate. I now try to save half of the order to take home for a meal the next day.The nugget is generally not a place for special occasions or celebrations (although I have heard happy birthday being sung from time to time) as it is not that type of restaurant, but if you want good food and a consistent taste and quality this is the place. They even have frequent diner cards that after the 10th visit you can get $5.00 off your next meal. We have redeemed several cards over the years.Friday dinner hour and Sunday breakfast are probably the busiest times, but one expects that and if a wait is necessary it is usually quite short. When one has to wait for a table, you know they must be doing something right. The owner is almost always present and usually visits each table to make sure he has satisfied customers. I'm glad we live so close to this satisfying restaurant.

We are a family-owned brewpub located in downtown Oxford MI offering craft beer and food, all made on the premises. It's all down-to-earth, from the approachable beers, the from-scratch food and the welcoming environment. Come in, sit back and relax!
Visiting the area and there were no wineries, so we chose brewery. There was only a few patrons, but it took a bit to get a beer menu. Beers were good, pretzel bites were very different but really good! Half the seasonal beers were sold out, which was a bummer. Staff was nice.

Not only is the food amazing, but the Owner REALLY cares about her community and takes care of everyone in it!

Had a nice casual dinner here on a Sunday evening. The menu has a lot of variety and is very typical for sports bars. The beer list was very good. Service was friendly. The portions were generous, but one major complaint -- the mixed veggie side was pretty bad. Way too many peppers, and not enough typical vegetables in my opinion. Other than that, the food was fine although unremarkable; that's why the average rating.

Good food at a great price with fun and good service. There may be a wait as the church rushes hit the restaurant but worth the wait. The hours are breakfast and lunch only so a little disappointing but the owners have to have some time off. The owners are always present which seems to keep the already efficient staff being efficient. The owners will buss tables or do whatever is a temporary bottleneck so the customers have a great experience without any hitches. Great menu choices and value. Recommend.

Our server was attentive and provided us with friendly respect. I am not a big fan of the hunting lodge theme and would rather not look at stuffed animal heads while I am eating. They are supposed to be known for their long time homemade chili recipe, but I found it to be very bland. Nothing was wrong with my visit, but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Very nice restaurant, with a wide assortment of good quality food, reasonably priced. Chicken wings were some of the best weâve ever had.

Great food, atmosphere and value specials on Mondays and Tuesdays.
This place came recommended by friends and they did not disappoint. If you're looking for pub far and a good beer selection look no further but if you'll looking to count calories, you're also in luck. They have excellent sashimi tuna. Definitely a do again!

Enjoyed a fabulous wine dinner celebrating the restaurants anniversary. Always enjoy the wine dinners - reserve early as they usually sell out.Quality of food is always impressive. Need to go again as the crepes and Mac n cheese are fabulous .....and don't miss the smoked whitefish pate'.Thank you for your kind review. Our monthly wine dinners give the Culinary Team a chance to really get creative, and we have fun pairing the wines. I am glad you enjoyed. We look forward to your next visit.
Whether it's a night out with the family or date night, we have more than enough things to do. With Urban Air easily accessible, the bowling lanes within view, big screen TVs and amazing food, what more could you ask for? We're the only place in town you
