We first visited The Ritz 4 years ago and the place hasn't changed a bit! The food portions are huge. Breakfast will keep you full all day! The prices are very reasonable and the wait staff is awesome. You can share plates, which I recommend if you are not very hungry or a light eater. Stop by- you won't be disapointed. *I might add - this is much more of a "diner" than a restaurant.

Had a late breakfast here. Eggs, ham, toast, pancake and potatoes - all done very well - around $9 incl coffee and tax. Good value and the food was cooked to perfection. Family run in an old restaurant; friendly service and free Irish cookie on St Pats day.Would go again

My family is from Oswego and when I visit home this is a must âmultipleâ stop location. The owners have done a fantastic job and their fresh baked bread and ingredients make this sub shop a landmark in Oswego. Iâve taken many friends from to Oswego and they all rave about the food from the Oswego Sub Shop!

Bistro 197 is a new ageism restaurant in a revitalized downtown Oswego that is part of the reason for its renaissance. The culinary offerings are compelling, the ambience is captivating, and the drink mixologists are superbly qualified to produce the prrfect cocktail. Add to that live music Thursday through Saturday and you a winning combination, that has become very popular with locals and transients alike. I ordered the salmon special on a recent Thursday evening, and it was superbly prepared and delectably delicious. Add to that the apple crisp dessert and an Irish coffee and the evening was perfecto. They also have a wide array of wines and beers. This is a must stop on the Oswego restaurant horizon . 5 out of 5 stars!

We were recommended to go here y a friend and business associate who has been here several times, though not this year. Gonna have a bit of a chat with him when we get home!Pretty view is all one can say that's positive. Service was off. The young waitress clearly had no training whatsoever and knew nothing about any of the menu items. Try training your staff, Alex! (assuming there is an Alex)Chicken and ribs was supposed to be baby back ribs. I got two ribs from the end of a slab of side ribs and they were tough as nails. The chicken was mediocre, crispy (as if it was thrown in a deep fryer) but not really tasty. My partner ordered the "rib eye steak". Her plate came with tasty fried onions over cut up beef strips that were cooked like shoe leather and about as tasty. Might have been a rib eye or might have been bottom round or all one could tell. That steak was butchered twice: once on coming off the cow and a second time in the kitchen. The meal was pretty disgusting. We continually try to provide our guests with a dining experience that exceeds their expectations, and unfortunately in your case we failed to do so. Training is an on going process and I would like to apologize for your poor experience with us. I also want to thank you for taking the time to write your feedback.. so we may use this review as motivation to make the needed improvements!

First (and last!) time here. Went for birthday dinner based on high TripAdvisor rating. Rating is misleading. Checked afterward on Yelp. Only 3 stars. Much more accurate. We can eat better at chain restaurants for much less. $28 for "Signature"grilled seafood platter. We've had much bigger and better for under $20. $15 burger was ok. Didn't bother ordering dessert. Server never brought check. Had to get from other server.

Once again La Parilla stuns my taste buds! The capinella bolognese with soppressata, chorizo sausage and beef was perfect...but hard to finish after their world famous cicerone chicken with honey and poblanos. Topped off with cinnamon apple egg roll for the final birthday celebration topping. Seriously, Ray and his staff of experts and very helpful, friendly folks knocked it out of the park.

Four of us visited here on a Monday. The menu was interesting. We ordered an eggplant sandwich, a mushroom pizza and three bowls of southwest corn chowder. All three dishes were excellently seasoned and fresh. We all shared our dishes and each one was as good as the next.

Wade's has been around for a long time and is the place for breakfast in Oswego. We went for breakfast before the students came back in August. We only waited a short time before being shown to a large comfy booth. The service was excellent, wait staff friendly and super efficient. Since 3 of us had coffee they give you a pot so you stay topped off. Breakfast was delicious, large helpings, plenty of veggies and meat in the omelettes, great cheddar cheese sauce. And of course the cinnamon raisin toast which everyone raves about and must be tried. They also sell loaves of their bread to take home.
