If you are addicted to Tex-Mex food this will make you happy you stopped here. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and fast. The menu is extensive also which makes your choices harder, but don't fear, it's all good.

We stopped on our way back from Louisiana to Houston because I had a hankering for BBQ. It is just off the freeway and it was really good, especially the Cajun veggies. We had chopped beef sandwiches which hit the spot.

Ten West Diner is a new place in an old location....used to be a coffee shop. It serves a LOT of different items and the ones I've tried so far were delicious. They have breakfast all day, and there are some crazy breakfast options called 'piles.' They have a ton of different stuff piled on! We went for dinner. I had honey pecan chicken with fresh fruit and green beans, while hubby had the bourbon glazed meat loaf sandwich with an onion ring on it, and maybe bacon. Lord have mercy. You can tell who the healthy eater is!! Anyway, it was all DELISH! It's right beside the freeway, so stop in on your way into Texas! The menu has sandwiches, salads, entrees, dessert, you name it. Oh, yeah. And breakfast all day. Did I say that? :)

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
We were dry camping at the Flying J and had dinner here. We were seated quickly but it took several minutes before our waitress came to get our drink orders even though she walked by our booth several times before finally stopping. I took a chance and ordered the sirloin steak and was delighted with it. It was cooked perfectly to medium and well seasoned. The rest of our food was also very good. However, we didn't get it all at the same time. Our waitress brought it out in a couple of trips with a bit of a wait in between. I watched her with other tables and she seemed to be doing a better job with those so maybe she was not used to covering our booth normally. We still had a very good meal.

Long standing favorite BBQ restaurant in Orange. They smoke their own meat. The beef and potato salad are my favorite. There's a large banquet room in the back. Have enjoyed many dinners back there. Don't get to dine there much anymore. It's pricey for my budget.

We came here for lunch and the food was great. The parking lot and building are a bit dated but adequate. The restaurant has a good atmosphere but can only accommodate about 50 people. It is off the beaten path but worth the try. I would recommend and will return.

We visited this place twice on our roadtrip in the south. Great place. Lovely people, great food and the good Texas feeling.

Recommended by our hotel desk clerk, Spanky's proved to be a real find in this far-eastern Texas town. My wife had the fried shrimp and I opted for fried oysters. Both were offered with french fries, onion rings, hush puppies, or all three. Service was very fast and extremely courteous. We were there on a Thursday night, and the place was packed with locals--a testimony to the quality and quantity served up. Not to be missed!

Get off of the interstate highway and head into Orange for a remarkable lunch experience! The atmosphere has historic relevance and the food and service is impeccable. I had the catfish filet topped with shrimp creole and my buddy had the blackened redfish topped with crabmeat, mushrooms, and spinach. Both dishes came out hot and well seasoned. The service was quick, friendly, and professional.
