The fried shrimp are excellent! My husband had jambalaya and seafood gumbo. Both were excellent. Atmosphere is fun can get noisy and gets crowded. We will go back.

Had a family member order from herelong time back and it was not bad. I came in to order a pizza for my family and after I ordered 1 pizza they told me 20.00 I gave them the cash and after I did I changed my mind before they even shut the drawer and I asked for my money back and I was told NO!!! I'm like what I paid in cash you have done nothing and I just don't want to pay this much for 1 pizza, I was told only thing I will get back is the pizza, so in lamons terms they held me hostage to either taking the pizza that has not even been made yet or leaving without getting my money or pizza. Then when I got the pizza it was horrible in everyway. I'm not a little ceasers person but there 5.00 pizza was just as big and better then here. My advise drive to Livingston and do not stop here.
The atmosphere is great with a huge outdoor seating area on the water. You can get there by boat also. The service is very slow so donât be in a hurry. The prices are reasonable. The menu has a variety of food from catfish to burgers and chicken fried steak. I had fried shrimp which was good and husband had fish tacos which were also very good.

We have eaten here three times....twice for lunch and once for a steak dinner. The daily lunches are very good with lots of different sides, even fried green tomatoes.Portions are large and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed our ribeyes on the patio. They have a really nice screened in patio with a full bar. And I would have given this place 5 stars if they had a good bourbon like Knob Creek or Woodford Reserve instead of Jim Beam. Their good steaks deserve a better drink. Service is always good.

This restaurant is on the KOA Campground property, so it seems like you are going into the campground. Our friends raved about this restaurant, so we made a special trip from Livingston just to eat lunch here on a Thursday. We arrived 1145am and it was very busy, but we were seated immediately. Very nice view of the lake.Server was friendly. We shared an appetizer fried green tomatoes - definitely frozen and deep fried - not good. Hubby had the fried steak sandwich with fries and I had the catfish poor boy and slaw. Thick bread. Lots of lettuce. Fish was mushy.

Miss Jean's BBQ is a local favorite. We serve BBQ, Colossal Baked Potaoes, Fresh Fried Shrimp, Charbroiled Burgers, Chicken Fried Steak and much more.
Great food, excellent ribs, and wonderful employees and service. Very small place, just a few tables. Place order at counter and wait for them to call you up for a truly excellent meal. Tasty, original, and not pretentious. Truly a great little restaurant!
