Que Sera offers a fun, upscale casual dining experience with an eclectic menu of dishes created from the finest, freshest ingredients. Que Sera owners Carl and Janie Tayloe realized their dream when they opened their friendly, upscale southern restaurant
This really is a French restaurant â lovely beurre blanc with everything, small portions of highly quality foods. Seafood and fish highly recommended. (Seafood Hal!). Save room for the homemade desserts â all in house and divine. For us, this is a special event restaurant.

Great local beers on tap and good selection of health conscious food.
We were so pleased to have found this place in Black Mountain. We ordered onion rings, the blackened tuna filet sandwich, and the Columbia Knob (a grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple). The french fries that came with the tuna filet were great; my husband got a side salad with his chicken sandwich. Our waiter Brad couldn't have been nicer or more efficient, and we were allowed to have our beagle on the outdoor seating deck. Of course, your dog has to be small enough to lift over the railing, because the only walking access is through the restaurant. It worked out great for us.

Other reviews have pretty said everything there is to say about this unique little place that is laid back as all get out. Love the activity areas--horseshoes, fire pit, Frisbee golf. There's a large porch and patio area for outdoor dining. Regular live music happening. They make their own kombucha, which was very good. Their sandwiches are good. The BBQ is locally sourced and also good. Only crooked roads will take you there and back, so be sure and have a DD lined up if you're going to be drinking!

We enjoyed sitting out on their patio area a couple weeks ago. I cannot remember the name of our waitress, but she had long strawberry blonde hair and she was fantastic. Very nice and attentive without being pushy. As we were meeting family that I hadn't seen in 15 years, we wanted to take our time. We all enjoyed a couple of their beers. I wasn't too hungry, so had their spinach salad. It was a nice balance of spinach, pickled onions, sugary pecans and bacon. I would go back. They had trivia that night which seemed quite popular.

Breakfast/Brunch.Morning pastries.Everything is made in house to provide you with the freshest and highest quality food available.Biscuits with a twist.Southern cuisine with a gourmet flair.
Their biscuits are huge, as are their cinnamon buns and more. They have some unique breakfast biscuit items with fried chicken, fried catfish, salmon and others. Be sure to study their menu to select your preferred breakfast item. It can be a bit overwhelming. Plan to stand in line to order at least 15 minutes or more. Once you order your meal is delivered to your table. They do a great business but for our taste it isn't worth the wait or meal. I had the biscuit and gravy with roasted apples and my husband had the breakfast platter. Each was fine but nothing spectacular. Additionally the food was not hot when served. The staff was very good. A unique breakfast eatery. Great if you want volume.

After reading the reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try. It was busy on a Tuesday night, but we were promptly seated. We ordered the arugula and mushroom pasta and the soup and sandwich. The soup was a seafood chowder and was full of shrimp and other seafood. The chicken salad was excellent. The pasta was very flavorful and filling. The wine list has several good choices. For dessert, we had a slice of the apple cheesecake. It was a huge portion and very tasty. Our comment was that if an apple pie and a cheesecake had a baby, it would be this dessert! Our server was friendly and attentive. This was the best meal we had during our three-day stay in Black Mountain.

Veranda Cafe & Gift Provides Best Lunch in Black Mountain to the Asheville Area.
The Veranda is special lunch spot whenever we visit Black Mountain. A lunch only eatery they do an excellent job with eclectic menu of sandwiches (hot, cold and wraps) and salads. My husband has been savoring their Muffuletta - he was thrilled with this tantalizing treat. My favorite is the Turkey, Berry, Brie- grilled that is scrumptious. This is a favorite eatery for visitors and locals so it can be crowded and with a waiting. Arriving just before noon we missed the lunch crowd. We were surprised to learn the restaurant was under new owners. They were sticking with the well known menu so we could get out traditional favorites. The only downside we found was our waitress. While she was efficient there was no warmth or charm, that we saw from past staff.

This place is an Inn that offers a superb breakfast buffet and a wonderful dinner menu. The beds were very comfortable and a bounty of hot water for the shower. Very cordial owner/operator greets you with hospitality at its best. A quiet location allows you undisturbed sleep and there is a bakery on one end of the Inn that provides bagels and other pastries for your pleasure.Wow! We're so glad you enjoyed everything! We can't wait to see you again!
Woke up hungry and craving a quick and tasty, breakfast place near you? From fluffy, hand-rolled Made From Scratch⢠Biscuits⢠to crispy bacon on our classic breakfast platter to breakfast favorites that you can't get anywhere elseâ¦Hardee's® serves food ju
This Hardee's, the one in Old Fort, just off I-40, is always, always delicious. We drive down there from Black Mountain at least once a month. It's never crowded (It should be but, fine. We always get a good seat). The food IS DELIVERED TO OUR TABLE, PIPING HOT!! The service is terrific. Our orders are almost always right. We had a snafu once and it was immediately and happily corrected! We get a big bunch of coupons in the mail almost every month and the only ones we use are for Hardee's and only the Old Fort Hardee's! The burgers are juicy and messy, the french fries are always hot and the staff let's us use our coupons for more than one meal. This is a well run restaurant that needs to go nationwide giving lessons.
Best burgers I have ever tasted and an absolute value. We fed the entire family for less than we spend at fast food places and Top Fuel Grill uses quality ingredients. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to swing by and give them a try, you will NOT be disappointed!
