Driving through this little town and happened upon this cute, homey restaurant. We had lunch platters that were part of the lunch specials; fish and chips and a Philly chicken sandwich. Both included fries and the fish platter also included Cole slaw. Just a comfy place that serves breakfast and lunch.

We stopped here for lunch while driving across the state. We both had the fish sandwich for lunch. It was fresh and well prepared. Service was very good and prices were reasonable. The place was well attended and appears to be a popular spot.

This was my second buffet restauraunt that I have been too in Florida this year. The first was truly nothing to write about in Sebring. This however, was a totally different experince. We were seated by a very friendly waitress who immediately asked if we would like rolls? As there where four of us I said yes. I had expected some store bought 1/2 stale rolls but to my surprise they were warm freshly baked sweet rolls which were delicous. They have a very lovely salad bars with lots of choices. I usually skip over salads and go straight to the good stuff. My first choice was the orange chicken and hickory smoked boubon chicken which was superb on top of rice. Everything I tried was very tasty BBQ pork steaks also another great choice.Lastly, it was on the the deserts. Usually there aren't too many choice for a diabetic but to my surprise there were numerous choices of sugar free or no sugar added delights. My wife and friends couldn't pass up the chocolate fountain and the vanilla chocate swirl soft ice cream. In closing, there is something for everyone with just way too many choices to mention. But with four of us, each having very different tastes found everhing we tried to be very tasty you most certainly can't leave there still hungry. The other nice feature is that everything is labelled so you don't have to guess.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch the other day. Nothing fancy. The food was good, but nothing special. Unfortunately our first two choices were not available. But our second choices were fine. Very casual. Décor a bit shabby. But overall, it was fine and beat a fast food lunch.

Had heard of the place and had great expectations. We were disappointed. Service was slow. Almost walked out since they would not come to take our order. My husband ordered their specialty burger and said fast food joints served a better burger. I ordered the chicken quesadilla soup and salad combo. It was tasty (and loaded with calories). Overall not a good dining experience.

We decided to take an hour drive to Okeechobee on a Saturday afternoon and looked up restaurants on Trip Advisor first which brought us here. Neat little place. We really didn't know what to expect in the seafood but we gave it a try. I ordered fried shrimp....Oh my! Fantastic! It came with fries and a small container of slaw, which was very different than most restaurants. Most have mayo based, but this had an oil based sauce which was very tasty. My husband ordered the fried catfish fillets....Oh my! Fantastic! Same sides accompanied his. The iced tea was great! There were a lot of desserts offered, not sure if they were homemade, but I assumed they were. Both dinners were $14.95 each. We will visit again soon.

We were visiting relatives in Okeechobee and we went here for lunch. Large portions! We had the mahi sandwich, one grilled and one blackened. Our relatives had a salad with chicken and the parrot burger. All were very good. This is definitely a place to go eat when in Okeechobee!! Love the atmosphere and tasty food!

If it swims, crawls or hops we probably serve it.
This place had the best hush puppies Iâve ever had! The shrimp and coleslaw was excellent, too! We avoided the Sunday buffet because of the cost, but it included everything that swims ... including alligator! The service was friendly and we plan to return!Thank you for your review!! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your dining experience. Our famous shrimp dinner is a customer favorite. We take great pride in providing the freshest seafood, served in the friendliest fashion. We hope to see you for a life time...Public Relations Manager - ML
