Last time we stayed in Ogallala, we unfortunately ate at the truck stop restaurant which was awful and we usually like truck stop cafés. This time we "upgraded" to the Spur steakhouse. We were seated in hard benches which made us unhappy to start with. We both started with very good, fresh salads. I ordered the patty melt which was excellent! My husband had the Santa Fe chicken which was a small portion with a little queso poured over top. At $17, it was way overpriced. We would go there again but only order off the sandwich menu.

I would not have given any stars had that been an option. It is not a quality restaurant and I would not go back here. I seriously left my entire dinner nearly untouched except for the initial bites which told me the ugly truth. In spite of that, no one asked if there was a problem with the food. I can only assume it is not uncommon to see an entire dinner uneaten. And presumably they already know why.

verry poor road to the pkace. wait staff seemed distracted about seating and serving. Maybe it was the customer that was trying to force his 4 or 5 year old to eat everylast crumv, vwey rude. View was'nice, Limited beer selection, food was not hot. I was not impressed. It takes more than a view to make a good restaurant. Maybe just a bad night

The blt was cooked to perfection and the bacon was crunchy the California sandwich is the favered sandwich and the must have the chicken soup was homade and had a special flavor to is and blew our socks off the prezils are kept warm and you have to have the cheese with it and we found a pie that blew our socks off it was non other but their homade pecan pie

Me and two co workers went here, they ordered draft I ordered bottle beer we all got draft that was piss warm, when waitress took our orders, all steak, she never asked how we want it, I told her med well, the others spoke up one said med rare and the other said med well, they all came out very well done and cooked on a flat top, not grilled the French frys was cold and soggy, when co workers ask for another beer it was 10 min before they came out, I could see the waitress playing on her phone as they waited, our bill was $115, $15 would of been to much, the fastest thing the did was bring the bill and run to the register to get their money. Next time I'll go to Wendy's, oh I forgot to mention an older couple came in was seated and left 15 minutes later as no one ever approached their table, and I watched the waitresse's in the kitchen area laugh about it as one said to the other, " oh well I forgot they was out there", hope I sent a message with a $5 tip for a $115 bill

We just happened on this restaurant as it was close by our over night hotel stay. Food and service was amazing, Would definitely return if ever in the area again. The variety of food selection was impressive and the cost was average
