Thank you for a wonderful time for our 4th Wedding Anniversary this past Saturday night. So lets break this review down into different parts:1. The Deer Park Inn history....when you approach the stairs of this historic surviving Inn you just can feel and wonder how many men and women have come here. You think about how they dressed 100 years ago and what it cost. You can smell the history in this place. Yes it is old, yes it is amazing to look at and yes it is just cool. Yes you want to see more of the house instead of the small seating area and yes the porch is flipping amazing!2. The Service is great if you get it. You have to be smart here people. They want you to spend hours at this place. The don't want you to leave in 45 minutes. The owners want you to have a relaxed and peaceful time. So the wonderful lady that waits on you takes her time because they want you to chill and enjoy. The night we were there two other couples were seated in the dinning room. The term Rude Americans applies here. They joked about the service and how slow it was. One lady wanted her meat cooked purple and despite getting a free dessert for a ridiculous request she still complained. We were having a romantic dinner and yet were not pleased with the folks we were in the dinning room with. Normal America these days. 3. Food....our food was excellent. My wife loved her beat salad and her main dish. I enjoyed mine. Food was great.4. The piano....if you missed it your blind. It was great to look at that piece of history. Almost all of the furntiure in the place is original as the day it opened. Except for the dinnering room tables and chairs. But wow that piano and stair case. Wow.4. We were the last ones to leave and we took about ten minutes to look at the fire place, pictures, doors, floor and embrace the history of the room that we were in. But the hidden jewel of the night was the owner and our waitress. She spend time with us as we were leaving in casual conversation about the history of the home, How they moved here from France, her family and kids. How many owners spends 35 minutes with you chatting. They usually want you out of here as fast as possible but not this one. Wow!It was a pure pleasure to have spent our 4th Wedding Anniversary at the Deer Park Inn...if you go here embrace the history and experience. Embrace that they want you to take your time, slow your life down and spend 2-4 hours just relaxing and enjoying your meal. They want you to be a part of the history of the home and for goodness sake CHILL!!!

Everything was amazing about this restaurant from the hostess sitting us to the chef coming out to see if everything was good. Our waitress Katy was fun and informative and provided exceptional customer service. The specialty drinks for St. Patty were fun. The food was amazing. In our group on 10 everyone enjoyed their meal from the New York Steak, blackened salmon, pasta, and salad. We did not save any room for dessert so no comment, but they looked good. Would highly recommend for a great atmosphere and food.

All we were looking for was good food and place to unwind after a long drive. Everything turned our perfect; pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and really great food. My wife had a Turkey cranwich, I had the roast beef panini sandwich with fresh tomato slice and provolone cheese. The bread in both cases was fresh and seemed home baked. We shared a bowl is special mushroom bisque soup. Our only problem was that the servings were very large. Next time we will order the "combo " 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup..Do yourself a favor by eating at the Cornish Cafe & Bistro. We will definitely go there again on a future visit to Oakland.

quick and easy, in and out service, not many tables inside but we have never had to wait for a table, they keep things moving. Great breakfast foods, lunch and dinner are decent also, but breakfast seems to be their big seller

Sit down at the U-shaped lunch counter and order a cherry milkshake and onion rings. You won't be disappointed! Then, shop around for vintage treasures. I saw a lot of Pyrex and Fenton glass. Great spot to lunch and shop.

Casual Lakefront Dining at its finest!
This Uno is part of a "mini-chain" of restaurants in that region of the US. The menu is standardized across the chain, and the food is predictably OK. Our server was attentive, so we moved in and out fairly quickly. We appreciate you taking the time to submit this review. While we are part of the UNO franchise, we have many menu items that are specific to our location only. We certainly aim to provide a dining experience that is far better than just "OK". Perhaps, next time you visit, ask your server to suggest some of best selling items and you may find one of our exclusive menu items a little more favorable.

We sat down, when I got a text from my mom to call me. She had the kids, so I stepped away and told my friends to order me a pepsi. I came back 20 minutes later and there was only water for all of us. 10 minutes later, we finally got our drinks. The waitress then took another 20 minutes to get our food order. We asked for bread. There were enough rolls for 7 out of 9 of us. The food came 50 minutes after we placed the order. Luckily the food was good. I definitely recommend going here as I hope that our server just had a bad night. We still tipped her well since there were 9 of us...and we actually did feel like she just wasn't feeling waitressing that night.

We came for my in-lawâs 50th wedding anniversary luncheon. We had the choice between the lunch menu or the dinner menu, but honestly...nothing looked good. When the food arrived, it did not match how the place was perceived when viewing the website. The food was really overpriced for what you get. I was really disappointed. The place is beautiful though and they do have docks you can park your boat at and an outdoor bar. Beer selection is limited. I would not go back if given the choice.
