This is a beautiful little tavern with excellent food and wonderful service. My girlfriend had an after wedding dinner there. The manager and the staff throughly accommodated all of our needs. My friend and I went there the next day for a meal before we hit the road back home. We combined the beet salad with a burger on top. Yes it was delicious and fortifying. Go enjoy your meal.

My wife and I visited Sleepy Hollow for a long weekend to celebrate the Halloween festivities this year and stayed at the Doubletree in Tarrytown. The Bridge View Tavern was a place we read about on TripAdvsior prior to going and wanted to check it out for lunch on a Friday as it was a close drive. We had an awesome experience and our server Patty was a large reason why. She greeted us immediately and talked to us like old friends. We told her we were in Sleepy Hollow to see the sites, etc. and not only did she give us a map with info she also recommended several things to do in the area. We had excellent (and spicy) Bloody Maryâs and burgers for lunch and everything was fantastic â the Chorizo Burger was unique and I loved it. We then walked around town all day, went on a cemetery tour, etc. for the next 8 hours and decided to come back for drinks and snacks. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of speaking to Patty once more and learned she is actually the GM of the place. She was a joy to talk to and she and her staff are excellent. The bartenders we had were on top of everything and the Yankees were playing so it was packed. We ended up staying until close because we were having such a great time. They also have a little beer garden out back, but we didnât have a chance to see it as we wanted to watch the game. Make sure to try the pulled pork nachos. I would highly recommend this place for top shelf food, craft beers and an awesome staff!

Brickhouse is a fun, energetic, lively pub in a NYC loft-like space, serving delicious pizzas and typical bar food. (The bacon and onion pizza and fig pizzas are yummy. The other food is mostly deep fried, while a few salads and a fairly decent grilled miso salmon dish is also available). The burger preparations are varied and are also good. The beer selection is very good but served in whichever glasses they have handy. The prices are reasonable. The service is harried and overwhelmed, but pleasant. The servers get an A for effort, but apparently they serve too many patrons to allow the service to be either attentive or efficient. We were not in any rush, so the slow (yet pleasant) service and long wait for food permitted us to enjoy the lively ambiance. We really enjoyed our fun evening at Brickhouse!

Friends invited us to join them for dinner and brought us here. They had been wanting to eat at Communal Kitchen for a while as they had heard good things about this restaurant. Good news for us was when we walked in, our table was ready...no waiting or artificial seating times here which was great as we were very hungry! We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table, which we really liked...the spicy meatballs were terrific...and not too spicy for us. The Yucca fries, interesting but not over the top, the burrata was excellent and the candied bacon got inhaled! We tried different entrees too with the short ribs and mac & cheese being our favorites. Overall, we were very pleased with our meal...the service was first rate but not intrusive and the price reasonable for all the food/drink we ordered. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes...well, we're getting the candied bacon for sure.

Always questionable when stopping off during a long drive hoping to find a good quality restaurant to stop and get a quick bite before getting back on the road. This restaurant and service were great and didnât mind a boisterous toddler to boot!!Would definitely return in future road trips!

Fine Italian food with new american flair, an excellent selections of appetizers lots of salad, Home-made pasta, variety of seafood and steaks
We were welcomed warmly and sat at the cozy bar. After a well crafted martini we had a reasonable bottle of red wine recommended by the waiter. The soup of the day was a gaspacho, that was the finest freshest one I've ever had. We opted for their burger which was done to perfection.Hello PaulThank you so much for the review, you made our day, and I hope to see you again for lunch or dinner!

Velo, which means bicycle in French, showcases Anthony's love of cooking and his love of cycling, which is reflected in the decor. Velo, a mixed cuisine restaurant, located just off the main strip of downtown Nyack, offers a provocative menu. Serving exce
We had a very good dinner here. I love that the risotto had two different sizes - large and small. Perfect size and really good. The watermelon salad with olives, mint, and cheese was awesome. I couldn't get enough! The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff attentive and polite. Plus, being in town allowed you to take a walk on Main street afterwards. Perfecto!

Nyack is known for many restaurants for dinner (Mediterranean, Thai, Japanese, Italian...the list is endless) and incredibly great bakeries, ice cream, pizza, lunch varieties, and vegetarian/vegan options abound. But out of all, Strawberry Place stands out as THE place for breakfast, with the most varied menu, friendly atmosphere and cordial service.
