Went for an early Sunday dinner and the place was pretty crowded! We were immediately seated (we had called 20 minutes earlier for a table) and the service was excellent throughout! The pear, beet and goat cheese salad was fresh and superb!! Our chicken enchiladas were also delicious. Everyone sitting near us seemed to be really enjoying their food and desserts as well...drinks also very good! The Purple Elephant is definitely worth a try- and they have food for vegans and meat eaters!

We visit family in Long Island every year. Iâm so glad they chose to take us to Seven Quarts Tavern to meet up for dinner and drinks with friends. It was our first time dining here. The restaurant has great vibe with a very cozy feel. We sat downstairs close to the bar. When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the owners, Brian, and we were promptly seated. We started with the duck wings and crab cakes which were both flavorful and delicious. My husband and I shared the Slow Braised Short Ribs and Mac & Cheese for dinner which I would definitely recommend. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their meals and the service was on point! From start to finish it was a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back again.

I give this place an excellent not because the food was excellent but my dinner experience here was really, really good. Service was excellent as well as the food. Price for food is reasonable. The beer and wine was overpriced. They only serve beer and wine and the place is small. Will return to this place when in Northport.

We happened to find this place by accident and it was highly rated so we stopped for lunch. Price fixe lunch had decent choices so we each tried something different. Donât get me wrong- food was good. But for price, I expected more. Drinks were extra.

Family friendly restaurant with an innovative breakfast lunch and dinner eatery and of course a touch of southern.
Iâve enjoyed breakfast and lunch here. Sometimes they donât offer you the lunch special menu so be sure to ask. Itâs also open for dinner although Iâve never gone. The food is always fresh and the waitresses are always nice. They honor the staff at the nearby Veterans Hospital with a small discount which is very nice.

Having lived in Northport on and off for 60 years I've seen a lot of restaurants on Main St. This care, although very small has always served really good food. It's pub food, but good quality. There might be a grilled salmon sandwich or a pasta shrimp dish. But it won't be ordinary and it will be tasty and we'll executed. It can get very crowded so we prefer lunch over dinner for that reason. You'll never have a bad, meal here.

Went with five friends for lunch and sat outside on the back patio on a beautiful afternoon! Service was very good and they had a really nice menu with $19.95 lunch specials, which included a starter (baked clams and baby greens were terrific), entree (salmon, cajun shrimp, chicken club all delicious), and dessert (warm chocolate cake and apple tart great)....lots of choices- all tasty and fresh! If you're in downtown Northport on a nice day- Bistro 44 is an excellent choice!

Iâve lived in Northport for 25 yrs and drove by this restaurant constantly today I stopped. To my surprise a nice country style setting low ceilings and an affordable lunch menu. I had the stuffed flounder... delicious. Lunch was made even more special with our waiter Dennis... made you feel like you were in a family restuarant. The only downside you have to pay in cash and a atm machine is not in the building. No worries next time Iâll know

We visited our friends in Northport and this is one of their favorites. I understand why. The interior is like the galley of a ship and out back is a nice patio area with a fountain and a relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was also excellent. I recommend the corned beef hash Benedict.
