Walkers, a legend in our own minds! When we return to visit family we always have to go to Walkers! If you order the Apple Pancake, bring a friend with an appetite! We got crepes, and a Western Omelet that was baked and was Awesome! 5 Super Stars!

Very disappointed with this restaurant tonight. Been here many times. Price of wine and cocktails out of site expensive, previously not so. The hostess at the front desk was so rude. "Get out of my way I'm busy" when I was just checking in for a reservation. No water at the table, had to ask the waitress for water. No fillup on bread. Ordered mushrooms for a pasta dish, and they never showed up. The grilled calamari was non-existent on the plate mostly arugula salad and giardiniera. No utensils(cracker, scissors) for the lobster. The soup was barely warm. and so on...... Come on you can do better then this for a "Let Us Entertain You" restaurant.

We hadnât been to Pinstripes in a while and we were sorry about that. We have always enjoyed it there and this time, when it wasnât even super busy on the inside, we were a bit disappointed with the service.I must admit that other people came by and wanted to know if we were doing well, and overall we were, so we said nothing. Perhaps that is our mistake.First, I was surprised that our gluten-free friend was told that yes, she could have gluten-free bread, but it would be at a cost of $2. Okay, but they were slow in bringing it out. We all ordered drinks except for one of us who instead of something with alcohol, ordered a diet drink. He had to wait. The dinner was exceptional for me, I had ribs; they were amazing, as was the Caesar salad. The next gaffe was regarding the Pinstripes bracelet, I had to ask how it worked (it has been a while) and then the server forgot. The final strange thing was that we had the server give separate checks. Our friends got a duplicate of ours (which was more expensive). We had to call them on that one. So instead of a four stars, I have to give three. Thanks for your review. We would love to hear more about your experience, so that we can use your valuable feedback to deliver an even better experience next time. I am going to address this issue as soon as possible. Again, thank you for taking the time to review our business!

This is the best restaurant between Chicago and Milwaukee. Weâve been guests monthly for almost 10 years. Have tried just about everything on the menu ... never disappointed. The NOLA items are a treat (if you want to experiment, just try the Shot of Gumbo). Seasonally have Soft Shell Crabs, try them tempura style. Shrimp and Grits best Iâve had outside South Carolina. The tuna, either as appetizer or entree, is fresh and satisfying. Iâve had the steak, but Iâm not particularly a steak guy, so didnât think it was as special as the other entrees Iâve had. Weâve visited as a couple, and as family group of a dozen ... service is always, consistently outstanding. BBQ and sandwiches are top notch. Not a beer guy, but there is a large selection of domestic and imported brews. You will not be disappointed.Thank you so much for all your kind words! We're so happy to hear you've enjoyed your experience with us time and time again! We look forward to the next time!

The menu for Lake County's Restaurant Week was absolutely delicious! The menu was created by 2 of the incredible Chefs there -- Charles and Maynor. We were so impressed with the dishes that we had to ask! A variety of options for each course and everything that was brought to our table both looked and tasted great. Please put the Tuna Tartare on your regular menu -- it was incredible! Very friendly staff including our waitress, JJ. Thank you for a great experience -- we have already planned to go back this weekend with the kids.Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience. Birthday celebration dinner. In past dining experience when visiting from out of town, dinner was over the top. This time, just âtolerableâ. Server was very slow and inattentive. They were out of about everything we wanted. Not even an offer of substitute, etc. tad disappointing. I think it had been a graduation weekend. Maybe busier than normal? Local businesses should stay aprised of area events and be prepared. Pretty disappointed this time.

My salad was ordinary. My mother's soup was good,but too salty. The decor is lovely and suits the restaurant perfectly. The service was quite attentive.

Family of twelve was overfed in traditional fashion with huge portions of tasty food. We came for lunch but breakfast was still served and half chose those options. Mexican eggs over potatoes were tasty as was the corned beef hash..... French toast also enjoyed as were the pancakes and apple pancakes. I had the turkey club and the turkey was excellent! The bacon reheated, lettuce and tomato ok but almost no mayo and the toast was partially burnt..... shouldâve sent it back but I didnât want to upset my host and also eat after everyone else was done..... very disappointing. Pastrami sandwich and kreplach soup were enjoyed the most and no leftovers there. All the meals were missing âsomethingâ..... unless huge portions are their only cache..... Mannyâs in Chicago is my gold standard and this was fairly close! If I couldnât get into the city and needed a deli fix, Iâd be happy here......

Restaurant chains and hotel restaurants used to have negative reputations, like cold pizza or warm beer. No longer. In our travels from coast to coast, my wife and I have been impressed with the quality of chain restaurants, especially steakhouses, and hotel restaurants. One of the best chains is Ruth's Chris Steak House. Founded in 1965, Ruth's Chris has over 130 locations across the United States and has established itself as the largest luxury steakhouse chain in number of locations, operating income and overall profit. In other words, a lot of people like the product. Unfortunately, there are only five Ruth's Chris locations in the Chicago area. One is at 933 Skokie Boulevard in the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel in north suburban Northbrook. It offers an elegant and comfortable setting, impeccable service and a menu sure to please every steak lover. We started with lobster bisque, shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad. For entrees, there is nothing comparable to a Ruth's Chris steak, sizzling, butter-topped beef, as in an eight-ounce filet and an 11-ounce filet. With baked potatoes and creamed spinach. For dessert, we shared a plate of Ruth Chris' signature creme brulee, consisting of classic Creole egg custard topped with fresh berries and mint, and white chocolate bread pudding. One of these times we're going to have to sample the 40-ounce porterhouse for two. At Ruth's Chris, there's always something to enjoy.

This is a bit far out from downtown. The kitchen is great with honest food. Servants are very friendly and efficient. Definately worth going. Make reservations!
