This restaurant has been in Newton for many, many years, but a few years ago changed ownership. Renovated, new menu, etc. Offers some wild game in season.
This was an office lunch and we were excited after having seen the menu online. The service was very, very slow, even though we were apparently the only people there. The staff was pleasant and courteous. Greens of warm brie salad were overloaded with dressing and large clusters of sugared pecans too hard to eat comfortably. The crispy eggplant sandwich a good idea but not executed well. The thin slice of tomato and piece of roasted pepper not enough to compensate for extremely fried thinly sliced eggplant pieces on a dry white bread roll. Shoestring fries with skins were good.

I was here for a large function; a group of 30+ of us, with the menu chosen ahead of time. The staff tried, but the kitchen couldn't keep up and it took a long time to be served (from drinks all the way through). Again, I know this isn't a typical situation. The food was okay. I would like to try this restaurant as a "normal" diner some time, not as part of a huge party.

We stopped in for breakfast, it was delicious, the service was warm and welcoming. I had the crabmeat asparagus quiche with an avocado tomato salad!!! A little pricey for breakfast but definitely worth it.My partner had the salmon cream cheese with smoked salmon on an english muffin and loved it.We will be coming back!!!

My wife and myself stopped here yesterday for lunch. While it is a chain establishment I must point out the friendly staff and terrific service. The manager even stopped by at our table to check on everything. We were even greeted by an employee holding the door open upon arriving and leaving. Salads and soups were fresh.

Was Back there recently again with my wife and friends. & the food and atmosphere were terrific. Reasonably priced, delicious drinks And great tasting food. I had shepherds pie which never disappoints and my wife said the disco burger was one of the best burgers she ever had. Our waitress was super friendly and pleasant and the place is casual, comfortable and a great local spot .

Located on busy area of route 206, Hampton Diner is pretty big, plenty of parking in lot; we were seated right away. Service was attentive, food was very good ( sign reads, 'all baking done on premises' ) and the prices were moderate, typical for diners. Nice place to grab a bite before catching a show at the Newton Theatre located 5 minutes away.

My sons and I stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed the food, service, music, and decor. Our server was attentive and made suggestions about what to order, so we went with her favorite dishes, which were really good. The menu is creative and we will definitely be back. The best experience we have had in Newton.

We enjoyed our Saturday dinner with friends here in Fredon Township. Cesco's offers all of the traditional Italian favorites on their menu, plus all of the pizzeria options. There was some noise from Route 94 where we were seated in their enclosed gazebo. My personal pizza was a little overdone. My spouse's Chicken Saltimbocca special with white wine sauce was good but a little salty; it was accompanied by very good mashed potatoes. I found their dessert Tiramisu a little soft. The young servers provided attentive service even though the gazebo dining room was full. The main building is a busy place that is small inside; reservations are recommended.

Do not pass this by. Great place, great food, and folks who love what they're doing run and work this restaurant.Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional waitstaff. The menu is varied but focused. Prices are reasonable. There's even a view over the countryside. Plenty of parking.

Been here many times. It is one of our favorites. Make sure you save room for desert because they always have excellent deserts! Service is great. Don't be fooled by the fact that it is in a quick check strip mall. It is great food. They also do takeout, have outdoor dining in the summer. It is also a bring your own place so grab your favorite bottle of wine and bring it with you. I have also used them for catering at our house for a holiday party before as well and the food and service were great.
