New Westminster is a historically important city in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Canada, and is a member municipality of the Greater Vancouver Regional District. It was founded by Major-General Richard Moody as the capital of the new-born Colony of British Columbia in 1858, and continued in that role until the Mainland and Island Colonies were merged in 1866, and was the Mainland's largest city from that year until it was passed in population by Vancouver during the first decade of the 20th Century.

Went on a Friday night, especially for the prime rib. The photo on their website portrays an appetizing thick slab of meat. Enough to make one's mouth water. Unfortunately, the meat that they serve is nothing like the photo. There is no slab. There are a bunch of thinly sliced shavings of a tasteless, nondescript meat. The accompanying yorkshire pudding was acceptable. The best thing about the meal was the assortment of perfectly cooked vegetables. But since I'm not a vegetarian I wasn't satisfied. The beer list is much better than average, and the service is good, which is why I've given it 2 stars rather than 1.

We didnât really know what to expect when we tried this restaurant. It seemed quite busy and far too crowed. Tables and people were in such close proximity that it was uncomfortable. We were ushered to a somewhat enclosed terrace. New Westminster in January is not necessarily warm so we were a tad chilly, although there were several heaters in operation and they provided blankets. The menu was basic and perhaps a little pricey but not too much so. The bathroom was clean(ish) and in a very central spot - you almost had to trip over people getting there and out. However, the service was excellent and food tasty. I canât say I was overly impressed but we were certainly not disappointed with the food or the beer. We may have to try this chain at another location before we make any real determination.

Haven't enjoyed my previous experiences here, but a friend said we should go because it has good parking; so we did. Arrived for a late lunch to find we could sit just about anywhere, but the window tables had uncomfortable seats, so we sat in a booth.Great service (should have got the young ladies name, sorry) was more than offset by the incessant noise which management must think passes for music that permeates the premises. While I enjoyed my (pricey but delicious) hamburger my two colleagues did not enjoy their selections.As we were about to leave, the TGIF crowd was starting to arrive - Perhaps THIS is the type of customer this venue is designed for.In summary: want loud music and good beer - go here. Want a quiet enjoyable lunch - go elsewhere.

We came here during a UFC fight night event. My brothers always go here for these events. My first time, and the food was great. The service was stellar. Our server was Nicole, and she anticipated ahead of time every refill, and came by regularly to check up on us. Great atmosphere here with the ability to watch multiple games at the same time. The food is quite good and the servers are friendly. I would recommend this as a regular stop.

Today I went with my friend to the âSixth Street Grillâ for lunch. I have been living in that area for quite a while but never was able to visit that restaurant. Now finally we got there. The restaurant was not very full; we were able to get easily a place inside. The prices were in the average level. We ordered a Sixth Street Burger with Yam Fries and a Beef Dip with Garden Salad. The servers were quite attentive; our glass of water was refilled frequently. It appeared that the kitchen was not able to handle a larger number of orders: We had to wait for our dishes pretty long and I could to see that the Burger was sitting on the counter for almost 5 minutes before also the Beef Dip was ready (the salad came even later). The Beef dip was ok (my friend said that there is not much that one could do wrong with that). The burger was pretty good (high load of items and tasty). And the yam fries were much better than at other places: Crispy outside and soft inside. Just the type of mayo didnât taste as well as at other places.Anyways, this restaurant is good. Itâs not a mistake to eat there.

This location is very busy from noon to about 3:00pm. I ordered the Modern Bowl With Salmon. It had Tabbouleh, Pineapple Salsa, roasted Cauliflower and Broccoli, Tomatoes, Cucumber, fresh Greens, Jasmine Rice, Miso Carrot Ginger sauce and a piece of Glazed Salmon on top. This meal was very tasty for a healthy menu option. The flavours of the Salmon, Miso Carrot Ginger Sauce and Jasmine Rice complimented each other well. The Veggies were cooked perfectly. I enjoyed this meal.Service was very efficient and prices were reasonable.Thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review.
