Great house made sandwiches, pizza, selection of beers and wine; eat in on small porch or take away for a picnic.
I have been to this establishment many times. Although the food is generally good the store food offerings are limited because the other half of the store is devoted to redundant art items to include small lighthouse replicas and other common beach memorabilia. This array of goods signals a lack of resolve as to what this owner wants the store to be!. More food could be offered and less art (much less) since the store occupies a place where it is the only establishment of its kind within 6 miles. This may be the reason why the fare is rather expensive. I leave this place wondering what the heck is the owner trying to accomplish?- too little of the good; too much of the redundant.

Went with friends in the fall. They had tiny stuffed pumpkins that were tasty. The room is nice, but you are so close to the beautiful ocean and lighthouse but there is no view here. We were also shocked by the prices. Haven't been back. Too much else in the area.Thank you for the review, it is however a bit confusing as it is for last fall, which is close to a year ago. In addition we never served tiny stuffed pumpkins, I am wondering if you are thinking of another restaurant. Our restaurant and inn are located on a beautiful property with lovely gardens which our dinner guests enjoy from the back deck or windows in the tavern or dining room.We pride ourselves on the fact that we source as much product as we can from local providers; farms, creameries, lobsterman, oyster farms, etc. and make much of what we serve from scratch which is reflected in the quality of food we serve. All of this directly impacts the cost of the final product. You are correct in that there are, certainly during the high season, many restaurants open in the area, The Bradley Inn is however quite different than the others, which our regular guests, as well as those celebrating a special occasion appreciate. We hope that you will consider dining at The Bradley Inn again in the future.

We are a quaint lobster warf in beautiful Round Pond, Maine. Our menu is a simple selection of lobsters, steamed clams, and corn on the cob. Guests are welcome to bring any sides or drinks they like to accompany their lobster!
Best lobster wharf eating on the Peninsula. Prices are moderating as the summer wears on. The combos are a good deal. BYOB and make it an occasion. The wharf is a great outdoor venue and there is also a roofed section. Round Pond is a jewel of a harbor. A lot more pleasure craft here but it retains its working harbor feel. Grab the first parking space you can going down the road ( or park in the Anchor lot).

The SeaGull Gift Shop and Oceanfront Restaurant. Maine ocean-front dining, gifts, ice cream all right next door to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Seasonal Restaurant and Gift Shop open Mid May through Mid October. We Are Now Closed for the 2019 Season. See yo
This is a combination restaurant and gift shop. The gift shop has all the typical things you would find in a Maine shop of this sort. The restaurant was very good as far as the meal we had, but the main event is the setting, right in the cliffs with glorious views. There are a couple of chairs outside facing the ocean and a staircase down to the rocky ledges marked pass at your own risk. If the water is rough I would not suggest it unless you are pretty sure of your footing.Thank you for your kind words. You were given a special treat today because the ocean waves were crashing over the rocky ledges.

We really enjoy returning to this restaurant every year with our groups. We first came when they had only been open two weeks, and the service was seamless, and the menu really delicious. Everyone really seems to enjoy their meals. The only disappointment this year was one night out of four, when the drinks were not up to snuff, but the food was still tasty, and when we told the owner, she made sure we were served proper cocktails. We return time and time again. You will not be disappointed.

Location is spectacular overlooking water, Ft. William Henry and lobstermen's co-op wharf. Great picnic table seating in or out. Very casual and family friendly. Great lobster dinner served with steamers, corn, slaw and roll. Friendly staff. Bring your own beer and wine. Nice casual evening.

Iâve been coming up to this area for a number of years and weâve stopped into Shawâs quite a few times. I have to say the last few times I have been pretty disappointed and this last visit sealed it, we wonât be returning. We ordered a the Seafood Fried platter that came with Haddock, Shrimp, Scallops and clams. I took a picture of the size of the fried shrimp on my finger because at first I thought they forgot it. No it was there, no pieces bigger than the tip of my finger... and as you can see in the other picture barely discernible from the pieces of just random batter on the bottom of plate. The Lobster âstewâ was over cooked pieces of lobster in a watery buttery broth, not very appetizing. The plus here is the view is nice. There are a lot of great co-ops in the area and weâll be sticking those.

My wife had brunch here recently and had great things to say, so I brought her and munchkin back to have breakfast/brunch. Well, Mary Dee and crew did not disappoint. The food was served less than 15 minutes from ordering, and it was delicious! Very comfortable dining area, good music (not too loud), and great conversation with Mary Dee and Garrett. This place will be a regular stop for us from now on.

A piece of authentic Maine history, The Thistle Inn still stands as a place to gather and celebrate what makes life all the more worth living: great food, great company, and a home away from home. Originally built in 1861 for a prominent sea captain, our
The food at the Thistle Inn is positively top notch, and the service is excellent. It was so good that we ate there a second night and were not disappointed. We highly recommend you give it a try it. Excellent service and wonderfully delicious food.
