Like those other towns, it maintains its own municipal government but its residents vote in the Jacksonville mayoral election and are represented on the Jacksonville city council. The population was 7,037 at the 2010 census. Neptune Beach is part of the Jacksonville Beaches community.

I have been a patron over the years, but the visits are fewer and fewer. Thd went from really great to OK. The drinks made were very poor. The place really needs a deep cleaning and an upgrade.

I made a reservation at Azurea based on reviews I'd read and I am so glad I did. The ambience, the food and the service were amazing. When making the reservation I told them my friend was celebrating a birthday. Not only did our server acknowledge the event, a staff-signed card awaited him at our table and the meal was capped off with a special birthday dessert plate. The food was delicious and the menu offered a nice blend of the traditional and more unique options. My companion raved about his steak and macaroni and cheese. I enjoyed the fried squash blossoms and the kale pasta prepared with rice noodles. The presentation was so pretty. With the amuse bouche and bread course, we left quite full. We decided to take advantage of the fact we were steps from the beach and took an after-dinner stroll.

First good part-good food-good to average service (too long to get attention) Good value. Interesting menu. Good happy hour selection.BAD. Horrible noise level. We are use to relatively high noise in this area but this was the worst. 6:30 on Sat night. But by far the worst thing was PARKING. We will not come back, at least on weekend. We had 6:30 reservation. Drop off spouses and we arrived back at the restaurant at 7:00. After 45 minutes, we found a place 6 blocks away. NO VALET-Problem is not unique to this restaurant (valet would solve problem)

In October 2016, my wife and I visited Poeâs the first time and fell in love. The burgers was amazing, the cole slaw was to die for, and the wait staff was very attentive. Now almost 3 years later, I have decided to never go back. I ordered the rue morgue and my wife the gold bug plus. Neither burger was better than what is available at Hardeeâs or Sonic and we had to wait much longer to get it. About 4 tables were taken inside the restaurant but the waiter was too busy to come and check on us, it was disappointing from what we had experienced in the past, and itâs enough for us. We will not go back. Hi - we are devastated to hear you had such a bad experience with us. We are usually known for our great customer service and attention to detail in everything that we do. My wife has been craving some good authentic fish & chips for quite some time. The rave reviews on Trip Advisor and a recent profile on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives clinched the deal. We started with a couple of picture perfect Guinness pints, and then just settled in to relax. The atmosphere is a cross between an Irish pub and a sports bar. Plenty of seating in a very woody comfortable space. It was a quiet Tuesday evening so things were slow, but I would imagine itâs packed on weekends when they host live Irish musicians. The food was plentiful and well executed. The fish & chips did not disappoint, and I enjoyed the Guinness Beef Stew. This is good comfort food in a relaxed setting.Thank you for sharing. We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Atlantic Beach. Good service, cute, clean, and a good menu that includes many vegetarian options. Our omelets were decent, the coffee was good, and we had a pleasant breakfast overall. Prices were reasonable.

I decided to drive out to the Jacksonville Beaches while in town on a business trips. I thought North Beach Fish Camp sounded interesting. My waitress was fantastic. Very friendly with plenty of advice. I decided on fried clams for an appetizer and the fish of the day for the meal. As with most fried food, the fried clams could have been from anywhere. But the fish of the day with vegetables over a Rossetti bed was very good. Use the free valet parking which you will need the hostess at the desk to verify.

THE best seafood anywhere. I get the lunch combo that come with a fish filet, very firm and tasty, about 7 shrimp, a couple oysters and scallops. You also get 2 hush puppies, baked potato, deviled crab and coleslaw. I can eat half and have the other half the next day. Nice new decor. Ask for Melody sheâs great, but all the staff is friendly and you feel like family.

I wish I could review the Cheese Steak Sandwich. But being on a short term low carb diet I have been relegated to eating wings and other carnivorous edibles. I will say though Philly's has some great wings. I would say the best at the beach for sure. If you not into the carbs then hit Philly's for the wings.Thank you very much for your patrinage. We go through a huge process to get our wings to be so crispy and taste so good. I am glad you apreciate all the hard work it takes. Thanks Jeff

What a gorgeous place to eat some great seafood! The screened in area was perfect last night where we awed by a gorgeous sunset. Our server was great. One must have the crab bisque which is rich, flavorful and full of crab. Yummy. The shrimp dinner was piping hot and lightly breaded where you can taste the fresh shrimp. Both the tartar and cocktail sauce were tasty and complimented the shrimp.Thank you kbemje. We love to heat when you had a great time. No better place to watch the sun set. Hope to see you soon.
