It is a classic Muscatine late-night five that upcharges on claiming to be âthe place to beâThey offer live music sometimes but it is very garage band, and they cannot keep flies out of the A/C in. They have little specials that slate the terrible, but there is absolutely no reason to go there unless you are looking to get into the dregs of Muscatine night life.

Worn buildings can be fixed and clean, but the bathrooms were falling apart and disgustingly filthy. Had we used them before eating weâd have walked out.If owners canât get off their booths (they were sitting right near us) to wash and clean a bathroom, then whatâs the kitchen like?It was obvious why they do so many buffets, the cook could only handle one meal at a time. Food was mostly good. Donât get the panini, they donât know how to make them (canât used parts of meat, needs to be one whole piece). Ham Steak good, mashed potatoes good, pies good. You can tell the building is worn out and needs a gut and remodeling. Listening to the owner talk his stocks with friend, he should spend some of his money fixing and cleaning the place. We recommend staying away.

Stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. I had the buffet and my colleague had the Ribeye sandwich. The meatloaf and ribs on the buffet were simply delicious. The apple crisp was better than grandmas (sorry Nana). My colleague thought the ribeye was âbest steak sandwich everâ. Service was friendly and efficient. Place is not fancy but the food and service are awesome

In town on business and was hungry for breakfast in the afternoon so I stopped into Farmer Diner for a bite to eat. I Ordered breakfast; the eggs were cooked perfectly to order, hash browns were golden brown, the bacon was crisp and toast was nicely buttered. Service was fast and Haley greeted everyone with a smile . Prices were very reasonable. I will be back here again.

The menu and food are lacking. We used to like Applebees, but in the last few years, the dishes/options have left something to be desired. We have had decent service at this location, and the restaurant appears to be clean. The value for the portions is fair. The restaurant is family-friendly.

The service was great and was really nice to receive a free pizza for my hubbies birthday!! It was relaxing with friends and had our table ready from our reservations. Definitely have a great choice of other food as well.

Muscatine is the home of Maid-Rites so decided to try the restaurant. A Maid-Rite is a loose meat hamburger. It was quite good. The restaurant serves other sandwiches as well. Try the corn nugget appetizer. Also try the beer battered French fries. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Very patient as we asked about the menu and helpful with her answers. Give them a try for an interesting experience.

Love the bone in wings, several sauces to choose in. The wings are not spun, sauce comes on the side! Always fresh, and crispy! 24 extra large, wings for 16 dollars! Great deal! And plenty for four, when you get a couple of their amazing appetizers. The loaded tots are delish, sprinkled with some kind of seasoning, homemade white cheese sauce, and bacon pieces! The waitresses are awesome and attentive. And usually you are greeted at the door by Boonie himself. You won't feel like an out of towner when you visit boonies. We always leave here full & feeling appreciated for stopping.
