Service was a bit slow at the start but then it got better. This is your typical Applebee's so if you are familiar with the chain you will know what to expect. Our food was hot and seemed fresh, we all enjoyed our lunch. Restrooms were clean and it wasn't too busy when we stopped in so that was a bonus!

Been to this location a few times now. Consistently good. Steaks occasionally are over cooked tho so keep that in mind when ordering. I also loved the smothered chicken with cream gravy. So delicious. Nice draft beer selection but could use more Michigan taps

We stayed at the Casino on Saturday and decided to have a nice dinner at the Steakhouse. We were not disappointed! The food and service was great! Food cam very quickly and prepared exactly they way we had asked. We both had calamari for an appetizer, the 8 oz. Filet and shared a side of crab legs. We both really enjoyed our dinner and left very happy and full! It is expensive although we both had a $50 dining credit so it was well worth it. I'd probably still go even if I didn't have the dining credits.

My husband and I came here because he loves sausage gravy. He had an order which was huge and he thought it was average. I ordered eggs, toast, and bacon. Bacon had a nasty flavor, the eggs were (over med) snotty. The bread, homemade and was delicious. Probably won't return. There was also an obnoxious table of young ladies with foul language and playing tube videos loudly on there phones, it was extremely rude, I felt the staff should have asked them to tone it down a little.

contacted the company to explain what happened at our visit on the 24th of November. Was told someone would get back with us in 3-5 business days. That mark has now passed so I feel I should warn others about this location. Be prepared to fight for what you are owed when you order. When you do finally get what you were supposed to get do not be suprised if it is under/overcooked. Very disappointed as we had hoped this would be our new stop as a family.

I visited here twice during our stay in Mount Pleasant. The first, I had a Ruben and fries, best fries ever, and the sandwich was delicious and prepared just right. My service was fast, fresh, and friendly. It was 30 minutes before they closed and they were in no rush to get me out the door. My second visit was breakfast, the Swiss melt over hash browns and eggs, huge portion and it was also hot, fresh and delicious. The ladies that work here are like a well oiled machine, they are friendly, worked well together and was just a refreshing atmosphere.

As loyal Benniganâs patrons from years past, we were elated to find one still in existence. The menu is much like we remembered, and the food was hearty and fresh. Our appetizer of Sriracha Shrimp was cooked hard and a disappointment, but the Country Salad with Crispy Chicken entree made up for it. The 1/2 Club Combo with a cup of their famous potato soup is still a hit. The Bread Pudding was warm and delicious. Service was slow, but it was still good to dine at our âHomeâ restaurant again.

We had eaten here quite frequently in the past and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. This visit, the first back in several years, was under whelming in many respects. First off our waiter was okay, not engaging and not impressive. Of the 6, 3 ordered the Scottish salmon. 2 immediately said their potatoes were lukewarm and they did not feel nuking the plates was a wise thing to do. My cappelletti was not warm either and just okay, not fabulous. No comments from the others on their meals. 3 ordered coffee after the meal, 1 decaf was hot but the regular were cold. Unacceptable! Our waiter did bring hot coffee but the whole evening meals were just fair and the excuse was that the kitchen was taking care of a party of 20. No compensation was offered and we certainly will not return or recommend this restaurant.

A family-owned, community focused steakhouse and brewpub with an emphasis on original Chef-created recipes, hand crafted microbrews, and exceptional guest-focused service.
This restaurant provided us with a near-perfect casual dining experience. To begin with, we were seated immediately by a very pleasant hostess. Our waitress was extremely attentive and genuinely personable. We ordered wild mushroom soup (delicious), brisket poutine appetizer (unusual take on the Canadian classic), and house salads (quite fresh and delectable). The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was casual albeit quite noisy due to the number of customers. It is no surprise why it is the #1 rated restaurant on Trip Advisor.

Iâve heard this is a bit of a local legend and I believe is still family owned or owned by a friend of the prior owners. My wife popped in there, got a couple of breakfast sandwiches and I have to say they were excellent. Almost too much to eat and very unique. Based on that I would definitely go back
